Lana Del Rey For H&M Autumn 2012

As we know, Lana Del Rey, one of the biggest names in music, will be the face and voice of H&M this autumn.

Here are some additional images from her print campaign shot by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin.

Lana wears a mix of pieces from the H&M autumn collection ranging from a green sweater to printed leggings, a tweed biker jacket, wool faux-fur-trimmed coat and tweed figure-hugging faux-leather-trimmed dress.

In each shot her hair is styled in her now signature beehive bouffant.

See more of the collection here.

I particularly love the printed pieces and the beige-embellished skirts. The wine-coloured leather-look pants caught my eye too.

Solange Knowles For Madewell’s Fall 2012 Ad Campaign

Solange Knowles has been revealed as the face of Madewell’s Fall 2012 ad campaign, ‘Mix Well. Madewell’.

The premise of the campaign is in the title as the brand encourages us to mix things up by styling boyfriend jeans with colourful pumps, yellow in this case – not surprisingly as this is Solange’s favourite colour.

Also featured in the video are denim jackets, sweaters, a cardigan with stripes, a printed frock, a colourful geometric-print top, and a polka-dot blazer which is paired with light denim shirt for an interesting combo.

We’ve loved Solange for her mix-and-match style, so it’s no wonder Madewell snapped her up as their ambassador for this campaign.

I don’t know about you, but after watching that video, I have several pieces on my want list starting with that polka-dot blazer.

Ashley Greene For DKNY Fall 2012

Last winter, the fashion world and Hollywood were both abuzz with the news that ‘Twilight’ Star Ashley Greene had landed a major campaign as the face of DKNY’s Spring 2012 collection.

It seems as though the brand was happy with Ashley’s work, because images have emerged of the star sporting the Fall 2012 line for a new slew of advertisements

As a quintessential New York brand, Ashley has the slightly edgier, darker image that is needed to convey DKNY’s aesthetic.

I love the way Ashley’s porcelain skin is offset by her deep brown hair and the clean, precise silhouettes of DKNY’s fall collection — I would even go so far as to say that I like these images more than her Spring 2012 campaign.

There is perhaps no contemporary star who quite represents the modern woman the way Mila Kunis does. Which is why I find it amazing and appropriate that she should find herself as the face of the new Miss Dior Bag Fall/Winter 2012 campaign.

Lensed by Vogue favourite Mario Sorrenti, Kunis appears in a series of photographs and a video inspired by 1950s Hollywood glamour. Although a thoroughly modern icon, Kunis looks timeless and elegant in the black and white shots.

Her large hair bow, dark makeup, and sky-high heels capture both an innocence and high fashion aesthetic that is extremely compelling.

In fact, Dior describes the photographs as, “The very essence of the House of Dior.”

Quite a compliment indeed.

Alexander McQueen’s Fall 2012 Ad Campaign

I have been eagerly awaiting the Alexander McQueen Fall 2012 ad campaign which was finally released yesterday.

David Sims captured Finnish model Suvi Kopoen sporting the same platinum blonde coif that the models showcased when they took to the runway back in March.

Between the futuristic origami set design, the metallic visor, the exaggerated shapes and heel-less shoes, Suvi looks like a beautiful creature from outer space.

Karlie Kloss for Oscar de la Renta’s Spring 2012 Ad Campaign

Karlie Kloss is the most sought after model in the business.

She walks in countless shows and features in many ad campaigns.

For Spring 2012 she reprises her role as the face of Oscar de la Renta which was shot by Craig McDean.

The campaign features runway looks including shoes and handbags, as well as sunglasses which features a style from Oscar de la Renta’s collaboration with Linda Farrow.
