Frank Ocean In Lanvin – 2013 Time 100 Gala

Frank Ocean In Lanvin - 2013 Time 100 Gala

Like Claire Danes, Frank Ocean also wore a head-to-toe Lanvin look to the 2013 Time Gala held at Frederick P. Rose Hall, Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City yesterday evening.

His classic, yet cool look featured a white pleated-front tuxedo shirt worn with blue-and-black zebra-print silk jacquard pants from the Fall 2012 collection, styled with a matching bow tie and 3-button black cashmere overcoat.

Black lizard Lanvin shoes perfected the look.

Frank has been one of my best-dressed men of the year; this look confirms his status. I just wish he looked a little bit more impressed.

The pants look weird, but everything else is fine.

He’s just new to this industry, it’ll come with time. He can also dress nicely. Step by step.

Exactly. And he also talks about how overwhelming he finds these kind of things are.

The pose is awkward and the cut of the pants seems a bit off. I nevertheless like this a lot. The tie and pants fabric have that nice mix of the classic and the new.
I personally love the long coat but am curious what others think.

Although I have very conservative tastes in menswear, I find myself a fan of Frank Ocean’s. He has a way of stepping outside the box while still maintaining a very classic sleekness. (At least from what I’ve seen so far!)

I like his style too, looking forward to seeing more.

I think he has a way of making things work. Love the bow tie, and find him very attractive !

I don’t like this. The pants are weirdly shiny, and the jacket is too long. I don’t like how he’s showing the lining of his jacket. I only like the bowtie, actually.

I like this, a classic look given modern and jazzy update.
