Gwyneth Paltrow In Ralph Lauren – Tiffany & Co. Blue Book Ball

Gwyneth Paltrow In Ralph Lauren - Tiffany & Co Blue Book Ball

Gwyneth Paltrow didn’t attend the London premiere for ‘Iron Man 3’ yesterday evening as she had headed back to New York for the Tiffany & Co. Blue Book Ball, held at the Rockefeller Center in New York City.

With the blue theme in mind, the actress wore a Ralph Lauren steel-blue silk-mousseline cold-shoulder gown, which she of course styled with Tiffany & Co. diamonds.

Beauty-wise, she opted for shimmering silver eye makeup, glossy pink lips and a side-parted hairdo.

Your complaints regarding Gwyneth are that lately her red carpet looks have been mostly monochrome and that you have long grown tired of her centre-parting.

Well, here you have a blue gown and a side parting. Is it enough?

Wish it was a sleeveless haltergown and her hair UP!
    Beautywise she looks radiant!

I’m not a fan of her style (not as of lately but, you know, ever) but here she really delivered it. I think she looks beautiful.

I don’ like this dress. And her hair and make up are, as usually dull and boring ! She really needs a new haircut.

+1 Nice to see color on her though.

I’m so bored with her style. Dislike the hair, again.

The last side parting was softer. This one her hair looks like it’s gone four rounds with the straightener (again). Not flattering, and the dress (which I don’t like) needed an up-do.

What a dull dress. Although the colour matches nicely her eyes.
Also, I don’t always agree with people complaining all the time about her hairstyle, but in this case she really needed an updo. The hair is competing with the neckline and covering up the brooch.

+1. Her hair obscures the butterfly at a Tiffany’s event no less. A chignon or at least tossing those ends back over the shoulders would have helped.

I wish she styled the dress with a 30′s or 40′s updo. It would have been perfect with that vintage-like dress.

Oh, for a vintage inspired updo!!! That would hav perfected this. However, the dress is beautiful (love the color, the sheen, and that brooch!) and she looks so statuesque. If she had fixed her hair this would have been an A-grade look. Frankly I still think it’s a BDOTW contender.

I don’t like anything about this look.

Somehow I like this look. I think she looks gorgeous but the hair… centre-parted, side-parted, is not that much different in fact. I’m more inclined to believe her hair stylist trembled whilst having her hair done and the part ended up in the wrong place. But no matter how her hair was parted the truth is she should’ve worn an updo. First, because she’s at an event where she’s supposed to showcase jewelry and you can’t do that with hair on your way. Secondly, it’s a better choice for the vintage dress.

Pretty dress but the hair does interfere. at least push it behind the shoulder.

    Not a fan.

Amazing dress, love the color, but I think a different hairstyle would have been better, a chic updo would have been the icing on the cake.

I really like look but a bun or chignon and this would have been perfect.

  15. Pedro April 19, 2013 at 19:58 #

    Very chic! I love her

I love Gwynnie, but this is a hideous get-up.

One long sleeve off the shoulder I like, two… not so much.
