Anne Hathaway was at The Roundhouse in Camden, London for the after party following the world premiere of ‘Les Miserables’ yesterday evening.
Having disliked her red carpet look immensely, I’m glad I don’t have the same strong reaction to this Altuzarra Spring 2013 ensemble.
The look features a blue-and-gold embellished bustier top worn under a black high-waisted skirt with seamed details which are more visible on the runway.
Her favourite custom Casadei midnight-blue satin pumps and a gold Jill Milan 450 Sutter clutch accessorized her look, along with a selection of silver rings.
Still as stunning as ever, she opted for a fresh-faced look to complete her party look.
Thank you for all your comments on the previous Anne post. Despite our views not being shared, I appreciate your respectful comments. Have no fear she will be put up for BDOTW.

yes i prefer this to the last one too but different viewpoints is what makes fashion fun-although I still don’t get why anyone would think wearing a white bedsheet fashion forward-wish she had worn more interesting shoes here.
This is why we all like you so much FC
As per this look – she looks very charming, but ya wished for a better shoe!
+1.
and 2!
+3!
+4!
Another good look – also BDOTW worthy – though of course the Givenchy is at another level – her tour is starting strongly
so much better than the red carpet look.
I did not much care for Anne’s red carpet look either, but the overwhelming avalanche of comments that disagreed was startling. And I truly admire you, FC, for being so sporting and fair. I don’t know if I could do it! It would be so easy to get defensive and/ or peeved. I guess this is one of the reasons that all of us who love fashion keep coming back here. Every opinion is respected, everyone freely speaks their mind and the focus is just on our collective love for fashion.
Thank you Fashion Lover…I am truly humbled by your comment.
The nasty ones, which were only two, were deleted and I paid them no mind.
The rest were respectful despite the opposing view.
That’s the way it should be
Respectful. I like that about this site. Good job, FC.
This look is decent.
thanks Christine x
You’re welcome. Thank you for updating this site as much as you do.
Did she add a belt to this look? Or is it just a higher-waisted skirt? In any event, the resulting shortened torso of the dress throws off the proportions for me. With that modification, I would have slightly shortened the skirt.
we wore the skirt over the bustier
You are so wonderful FC! I think it is a terrific thing that we can all talk to each other about fashion everyday and you give us the place to do that. I am so very glad that most people were respectful to you and each other. It doesn’t always go that way, but no matter what you are always a lovely person
thank you!
She certainly is stunning here, I love every part of this look!!
thank you…yes there is a very lovely community of fashion followers here.
I agree with Jess2, every word. This is a great community forum you provide for us and I learn so much here and love all the different viewpoints.
thanks. I learn a lot from you guys too
I prefer the bustier worn over skirt like on the runway but the blue/black version suits Anne’s colouring plus her and make-up look pretty.
I love this look on her!!! Better than the Givenchy! This is simple, classic and flattering!!!
+1
I didn’t dislike her Givenchy look, but I agree this simple and classic look is better.
Boring shoes. Blue cool heels [not the boring ones she's wearing] would’ve perfected this look!
I also like this look better than the premiere dress. I would have loved it even more if she had worn a strappy sandal.
Finally a great look for Ann –tho I agree with the other Anne about shortening the skirt a little. I have to say that Hathaway has seemed a little off fashion-wise ever since she cut her hair. Kind of like she hasn’t figured out who she is now. Going for more edgy looks that just don’t quite work for her.
While I LOVED the givenchy look I find this just okay, nothing exceptional but still elegant.
Very pretty outfit but, when she goes all bare shouldered like this, I still miss her long hair. Short hair makesher neck seem so long!
I love that it makes her neck look long, I think it looks wonderfully graceful.
Elegant, but she came with fab blue taffeta cape that made the look! This is another good look for her though.
There was a lot of controversy on the last post, but with the exception of a couple comments which were man & personal, everyone was respectful which was nice to see. The majority of your readers (including me!) totally value your opinion, FC, and the fact that you allow us to share ours. <3
Thank you Emma, you have always been very supportive x
Love her Jill Milan 450 Sutter clutch!
thanks
