Cody Horn looked stunning on the red carpet for the 2012 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards held in New York City yesterday evening.
Giving Mary Elizabeth Winstead a run for her money when it comes to Best Newcomer for 2012, the ‘Magic Mike’ actress delights wearing a summery Thakoon Spring 2013 dress.
This printed A-line birdcage dress, featuring a contrasting yellow criss-cross halterneck, is quite a tricky piece to pull off, but Cody does with ease.
Not leaving it to the dress to do all the work, the actress applied a punchy pink lip colour and champagne-coloured Thakoon by Laurence Dacade sandals from the Spring 2013 collection to her look.
There is not a single thing I don’t like about this look. I love it from H-2-T.

Her shoes are ugly and they don’t fit!! The straps are so loose.
This is refreshing! Love it.
Hmm the dress is ok but I am not sure about this dress with the shoes. the top half stands out.
I love this look! So beautiful and different!
+1
It’s a beautiful dress but she looks lost in it. And those sandals are just bad.
Cody’s definitely a good surprise seeing as how she plays the tomboy so well and interesting to watch.
At this rate there will be nothing left to wear in spring 2013. Oh, wait, that’s when we’ll see fall 2013 looks. Granted, some spring looks can work for more than one season. But for me this isn’t one of them. Not in NYC in Nov. I like it immensely otherwise.
I don’t like the shoes, but I can imagine that they would have looked better in real life since satindoesn’t photograph too well. Either way, though, this is another stellar look from Cody. She is by far my favourite newcomer and most ocnsistent this year (depending on how the rest of Angela Sarafyan’s year goes). I cannot wait til her next look!
Would’ve wished I could say that I love this look from head to toe but I don’t, because I don’t like those shoes at all. Love it from the ankles up though.
Love, love, love!
Love the dress and makeup, but the shoes look like a cheap metallic summer wedge type thing.
I love this! Yes, even the shoes. It’s so good to see a different style on the red carpet.
I agree, she looks gorgeous.
Love this head to toe as well. I don’t think I’ve liked a look of hers yet, but this is great! It’s tricky to pull off but she does it wonderfully. Only wish that her hands weren’t in the pockets. It’s a pet peeve of mine.
