Premiere Of Netflix’s ‘Dumplin’

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon feature the Premiere Of Netflix's 'Dumplin'

The premiere of Netflix’s ‘Dumplin’ on Thursday (December 6) in Los Angeles, California brought some understated sparkle to the red carpet.

Jennifer Aniston: The actress knows what works for her and doesn’t often stray too far away from that. This Stella McCartney mini showcases her fondness for black as well as her toned pins. Although bedecked with sequins, it still has an effortless minimalist feel that’s in her wheelhouse. Fred Leighton jewellery and a Valextra clutch rounded out the dazzling look.

Odeya Rush: Her costar also opted for black but added a pop of pink with her Giorgio Armani separates. There’s plenty of interest in the top with the banding continuing to an open back, but the proportions and mix of materials feel slightly off.

Georgie Flores: The ‘Famous In Love’ actress projected a sweet sentiment in Markarian Fall 2018. It was a more feminine take on a slip dress with the seamed waist and delicate embroidery. The detailed accessories played into the soft feeling.

2018 InStyle Awards

2018 InStyle Awards

Here is roundup of the other ladies who joined Lily Collins, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Tracee Ellis Ross at the 2018 InStyle Awards on Monday (October 22) in LA.

Jennifer Aniston: Water is wet. The sky is blue. Jennifer Aniston is wearing a black dress.

Laverne Cox: The actress was channeling her inner Beyonce Knowles wearing a Johanna Ortiz Resort 2017 dress which oozed plenty of latin flare.

Storm Reid: Dressed in Preen by Thornton Bregazzi Resort 2019, this glittering confection was given a playful flourish thanks to her uber sweet afro puffs

American Film Institute’s 46th Life Achievement Award Gala Tribute to George Clooney

There were many more A-Listers joining Cate Blanchett, Anna Kendrick and Amal Clooney and for the American Film Institute’s 46th Life Achievement Award Gala Tribute to George Clooney on Thursday (June 7) in Hollywood, California.

Jennifer Aniston: The breath-taking construction of this bodice makes me realise how much I miss seeing the craftsmanship of Christian Lacroix Haute Couture on the red carpet.

Cindy Crawford: The super model was serving up pure elegance in this Stella McCartney one-shoulder gown. Granted it’s nothing new, but you can’t deny that with minimal effort Cindy is a vision here. There was plenty of sparkle to be had via her Jimmy Choo ‘Cayla’ clutch, gold sandals and earrings.

Julianna Margulies: The actress is always radiant on the red carpet. On this occasion she opted for midnight blue, over her favoured black. I love the silhouette of this Vionnet Fall 2014 Couture dress, but I’m not sure of the design from the bustle downwards. A Jimmy Choo ‘Vivienne’ clutch completed her look.

Chanel Dinner Celebrating ‘Our Majestic Oceans’

Chanel hosted a dinner celebrating ‘Our Majestic Oceans’, A Benefit For NRDC on Saturday (June 2) in Malibu, California with several notable guests in attendance.

When it comes to Sofia Boutella, Pom Klementieff, Rainsford Qualley and Brigette Lundy-Paine, their Chanel looks have been worn before respectively by Jhene Aiko, Greta Gerwig, Mackenzie Foy and Diane Kruger.

With Chanel, the looks are so distinctive that is can be hard to make it your own, but I think each woman (Sofia, Pom and Brigette especially) managed this successfully.

Jennifer Aniston In Schiaparelli Couture – 2018 Golden Globe Awards

Jennifer Aniston joined a host of lovely ladies who attended the 2018 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday (January 7).

The actress, who always wears black, wore a custom Schiaparelli Couture gown for the occasion.

I wish I had seen this look in motion as I love how the velvet gown is spliced with a pleated silk chiffon panel adding a soft fluidity to the piece.

Does this look have a touch of déjà vu about it?

Yes, but I think that is due mostly to the familiar hairstyle.

A Roger Vivier clutch and Fred Leighton jewels completed her look.

Jennifer Aniston In Proenza Schouler – Jason Bateman’s Star On The Hollywood Walk Of Fame Unveiling

Jennifer Aniston attended The Hollywood Walk of Fame Star ceremony honouring Jason Bateman on Wednesday (July 26) in Hollywood, California.

There was no feeling of déjà vu on this occasion, as the actress shunned her favoured LBDs for a Proenza Schouler Pre-Fall 2017 printed dress.

For someone who sticks to simple silhouettes, this dress has a lot going on with its overlapping belts cinching the waist, the handkerchief hemline and the abstract floral print, but I love that Jennifer opted to explore the road less travelled.

She even switched her sassy black sandals for pink Aquazzura ‘Purist’ velvet sandals.

Louis Vuitton x Jeff Koons Collaboration Launch Party

No stranger to collaborations, Louis Vuitton has now partnered with pop artist Jeff Koons on a limited line of accessories launching in April 28. To celebrate this Masters capsule collection, a dinner was held in Paris on Tuesday (April 11), with a host of LV-clad lovelies in attendance.

Jennifer Connelly: With a nod to a softer, romantic mood, Jennifer let her hair down in this decorative brocade and lace frock topped with a feathery stole. The label’s signature patent booties brought back the edge we’d expect in a look from this actress.

Fan Bingbing: Fan wore the signature sheer asymmetry of this gown effortlessly, which we’ve seen in different variation on Sophie Turner and Janice Man. I just think it would have been better served by sleeker styling, as the handbag and earrings competed rather than complemented the dress.

Cate Blanchett: As per, Cate cut a striking figure. But, the tailored regality of the sculptural top disappeared a bit with the drop-crotch pants, which can be something of an acquired taste.
