Bella Heathcote In Romance Was Born – Cartier Precious Garage Party

Bella Heatcote In Romance Was Born - Cartier Precious Garage Party 2

Bella Heathcote made a return to the red carpet for the Cartier Precious Garage Party on Friday (November 29) in Sydney, Australia.

If you’re anything like me, this ruffled and pleated dress would’ve had you reminiscing about two distinct collections: Alber Elbaz’s Lanvin Spring 2008 collection and Stella McCartney’s Spring 2010 collection.

However, this look hails from the Spring 2019 collection of Romance Was Born.

I love the dress, but I feel like a Chloe Sevigny or Lupita Nyong’o would’ve sold this look to me with a bit more gusto. I can just picture Lupita making those ruffles sing on the red carpet, and the colour would look glorious on her.

I wanted to love the shoes also, but the style is not working with dress.

Nice ideas, but this isn’t bringing me as much joy as I would expected it to.

Jonathan Simkhai LA Store Opening

Jonathan Simkhai opened a new retail store and brand headquarters in Los Angeles, and invited a host of stars to help him celebrate on Wednesday (July 25) in West Hollywood, California.

Rumer Willis: This Jonathan Simkhai side slit dress is everything I want from a summery look. Light, airy, breezy cut-outs and a contrasting shoe for added interest.

Brittany Snow: Feminine and effortlessly pretty, I love this white dress for its intricate embroidery for a girlish finish, and pristine attention-to-detail. My only wish is that Brittany had opted for sandals or open toe wedges for the complete summery feel.

Soko: The Gucci muse announced her pregnancy on Instagram four days ago, and if you were in any doubt, she hit the red carpet in a crop top and short skirt.   This has to be one of the boldest maternity looks we have seen on the red carpet.

Chanel Dinner Celebrating ‘Our Majestic Oceans’

Chanel hosted a dinner celebrating ‘Our Majestic Oceans’, A Benefit For NRDC on Saturday (June 2) in Malibu, California with several notable guests in attendance.

When it comes to Sofia Boutella, Pom Klementieff, Rainsford Qualley and Brigette Lundy-Paine, their Chanel looks have been worn before respectively by Jhene Aiko, Greta Gerwig, Mackenzie Foy and Diane Kruger.

With Chanel, the looks are so distinctive that is can be hard to make it your own, but I think each woman (Sofia, Pom and Brigette especially) managed this successfully.

Bella Heathcote In Rosie Assoulin – 3rd Annual InStyle Awards

It may be October, but Bella Heathcote was full of the joys of Spring for the 3rd Annual InStyle Awards on Monday (October 23) in Los Angeles, California.

Hints of 1950s underpin the modern appeal of her bubble hem gown; peppered with multicoloured flowers and a “say it with flowers” moto which imbued some whimsy, débutante charm to her look.

Adding a touch of sparkle, she accessorized with Borgioni hoop earrings and a Hueb diamond ring, an Atelier Swarovski ‘Marina’ clutch and Sophia Webster ‘Lilico’ crystal heels.

Valentino x InStyle Cocktail Party

Fashion fans were out in full force at the Valentino x InStyle Cocktail Party in Los Angeles on Sunday (October 22), donning their most exuberant ensembles from the designer.

Kate Hudson: In my opinion, her buzzed hair has only enhanced her style. She has delivered fashion hit after hit, and this coral Valentino Spring 2018 gown was another shining example. The sweeping silhouette against her brown crop had a charming pixie vibe.

Gabrielle Union:
The actress’s Resort 2018 outfit had a clear safari influence thanks to its khaki green colour and the flap pockets on the jacket. It’s the subtle details that really brought this home for me such as her jewellery, the black shoes and the undone jacket buttons.

Mandy Moore:
While promoting ‘This Is Us,’ the actress has had a passion for prints. This continued at the event where she donned a patterned Resort 2018 dress. I adore the way the sweater details are juxtaposed with the sheer olive green panels. The two-tone shoes enhanced the rest of the look. Irene Neuwirth jewels provided the finishing touches.

Bella Heathcote In Dolce & Gabbana – ‘Professor Marston and the Wonder Women’ Press Conference

As Bella Heathcote continued promotion for the ‘Professor Marston and the Wonder Women’ film, she was at a press conference last Friday (October 13) in Hollywood.

For the occasion, she wore classic lace—with a twist—in this Dolce & Gabbana two-tone dress that modernized the effect through its fringed, black lace accents.

I would venture to say the embellished T-strap shoes weren’t necessary, but they did contribute a certain level of vintage-inspired charm to the look.

I loved seeing the star let her hair down, so to speak, with the soft romance of her waves and natural makeup to complete the look.
