Beyoncé Wore Giuseppe di Morabito For The ‘Reasonable Doubt’ 30th Anniversary Celebration
Beyoncé made a surprise appearance alongside Jay-Z on the opening night of his Yankee Stadium run in New York, performing “Can’t Knock the Hustle” during the opening night of his Reasonable Doubt 30th anniversary celebration.

The singer wore a custom Giuseppe di Morabito look.
Aside from the crystal pinstripes, the biggest story here is the capri trousers. The style has been making a major comeback, so much so that I’ve found myself completely won over. Rarely, however, have I seen a bedazzled pair. This felt like a glamorous reminder that the trend isn’t limited to daytime dressing.
I know some of you are firmly against capri trousers, but if you’re anything like me, the biggest issue here isn’t the trousers themselves. It’s the styling.

The Messika diamonds were exactly what you’d expect for a performance of this scale, and her curls and makeup looked gorgeous. But the tights and shoes? That’s where the look really lost me.
Yes, tights are very much part of Beyoncé’s performance wardrobe, especially when she’s wearing a bodysuit. Here, though, they felt out of place. And the patent Mary Jane Gianvito Rossi pumps made even less sense. They gave the look a matronly feel that clashed with the sharp, crystal-striped tailoring.
Swap the tights for bare legs and the Mary Janes for a sleek pair of sandals or pointed pumps, and I think this would have been worked for me.
Stylist: Ty Hunter.
