Jennifer Lopez Wore Harris Reed To The ‘Kiss of the Spider Woman’ New York Screening

Considering Jennifer Lopez had already explored the spiderweb theme at Sundance, it made sense that she didn’t revisit it for the New York screening of Kiss of the Spider Woman — and I’m glad she didn’t.

The actress stepped onto the red carpet wearing a Harris Reed Spring 2026 gown defined by its sculptural silhouette and sharp black crescent framing her body. It felt like a not-so-literal nod to the film’s title and tone — seductive, dangerous, and powerfully feminine. The sheer floral detailing added a whisper of sensuality that perfectly echoed the story’s dark, hypnotic undertones.

What I love most is that this moment wasn’t about Jennifer’s traditional brand of glamour — the sequins, the thigh-high slits, the high-octane sparkle. This was transformation through fashion. It was theatrical yet grounded, embracing the drama of the film while showing a more artistic, conceptual side of her style.

I wanted something different from J.Lo — and she delivered.
