Robin Thede Wore Missoni To The 2022 AAFCA TV Honors

The African American Film Critics Association (AAFCA) Awards was held in Los Angeles at the SLS Hotel, honoring several talented people including Robin Thede, the creator, writer, executive producer of HBO’s ‘A Black Lady Sketch Show’ who accepted the award for Best Writing.

When I saw Robin wearing this strapless chevron print sequin column dress from the Missoni Fall 2022 collection, my first thought was that I wish that they hadn’t shortened the dress.

But on reflection, this was a slightly more laidback event for an awards ceremony, so the shortener length made the look feel a little less formal, without taking away any of the glamour.
