Sophia Bush Wore Emilia Wickstead To The 2022 White House Correspondents’ Dinner

Sophia Bush joined Miranda Kerr and Drew Barrymore on the red carpet for the 2022 White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner held at the Washington Hilton on Saturday (April 30) in Washington, DC. 

Spring hasn’t yet sprung for Sophia Bush, as she opted for a glorious magenta hued dress from Emilia Wickstead gown styled with a Tyler Ellis Boysenberry satin Lee pouchet.

You might look at her above photo and go, “meh,” but I feel like the open back gives this look a whole new dimension.

Personally, I didn’t need the open back to fall in love with this piece.  It’s the overwhelming elegance – and the colour – which sold this look to me.

That’s because Allison Williams (who just recently returned to the spotlight) wore the same dress in pink for the 2014 Vanity Fair Party, which also featured the open back.
