Sonam Kapoor is probably one of the best dressed women in the world alongside Nieves Alvarez.
Without Cannes, or any events at all, we haven’t seen as much of her style as we would’ve hoped in 2020, but a recent Instagram posts lets us know that her finger is very much still on the pulse.
She captioned the picture, “Very happy to support @emiliawickstead and wear her beautiful creation in my home in London. Upwards and onwards Emilia.”
This is in reference to the Emilia Wickstead ‘Emile’ black and white striped dress that she wore, which is part of a capsule collection that will be available exclusively on NET-A-PORTER.
The dress first appeared on the runway in pink back in Spring 2016.
If you’re going to bring something back, I think it only makes sense if it’s a cult item, or you are improving the original.
In this case this redux has truly been revived for the better.
The sleeves are better placed, and the waist is a lot narrower. Two minor details, but they make a major difference.
The gorgeous Indian actress styled her look with jewels from Jessica McCormack.
Which look do you prefer?
2016 or 2020?
