Melissa McCarthy In Brandon Maxwell – 2019 Oscars

Lead actress nominee Melissa McCarthy broke from the expected gown at the 2019 Oscars on Sunday night (February 24).

The ‘Can You Ever Forgive Me?’ star donned a custom Brandon Maxwell two-piece look which was thoroughly modern for its caped top and flowing trousers, yet also timeless from the black-and-white colour combination.

She worked the draped shoulders like a true superhero, but there’s something about the belt and trousers that takes away from the entire outfit slightly.
