Rosie Huntington-Whiteley In Givenchy – 2018 InStyle Awards

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley In Givenchy - 2018 InStyle Awards

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley joined fellow Givenchy-clad celebrities Lily Collins and Julia Roberts on the red carpet for the 2018 InStyle Awards on Monday (October 22) in Los Angeles, California.

Her vintage-inspired Givenchy Fall 2018 pale gold sleeveless dress was replete with gold bugles and fringes that saw her bring back the flapper era in elegant style.

I would’ve preferred matching shoes over her Givenchy nude calf leather sandals, but she looks stunning nonetheless.

The shoe choice is a head scratcher and the hair, though it has some relation to the dress isn’t my favourite. A few changes and this would have been a good look.

She looks gorgeous as always but I don’t like this dress, the design overall feels a bit aging esp for her, shoes are a random choice as well.

Yeah, obviously gorgeous but I’m not feeling those shoes here at all.

She looks gorgeous until her feet. Those shoes are ugly.

+2. You don’t have to wear the designer HTT -you *think* you do, but you don’t actually have to. Designers are going for a big-picture vibe when they design collections; shoes from the collectiion aren’t necessarily meant to be worn by celebs on the red carpet.

In fact, it would be better for The Sell if designers let people style their work in a more accessible, glamorous way than the runway. Those shoes do nothing to sell the dress.

Noone is saying that she should have worn the runway shoes. Just saying that her choice of sandals were ugly and didn’t go with the rest of the outfit.

Elegant as ever. She’s my best-dressed at the event and a BDOTW candidate.
