Rachel Brosnahan In Jonathan Simkhai – RUFFINO Wines + DANNIJO ‘Always Sparkling’ Dinner

Rachel Brosnahan attended the RUFFINO Wines + DANNIJO ‘Always Sparkling’ dinner which served as a pre New York Fashion Week event on Tuesday (February 6).

‘The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel ‘ actress tends to favour soft, pale hues (much to your disliking), but she looked beautiful wearing this baby blue dress from Jonathan Simkhai’s Spring 2018 collection.

I love how the inserts bring a contemporary feel to ladylike the silhouette, and how the molten-metallics of her Nicholas Kirkwood sandals and Dannijo jewels amp up the look for this after dark event.

DANNIJO Co-Founders Jodie Snyder Morel and Danielle Snyder were twinning in Alessandra Rich Fall 2017 dresses.

I love how the designers are perfectly in sync with their dainty floral print retro dresses which are oozing with feminine sensibility.

The twin dresses are somewhat cute in an overdone, vintage-y way. I wish the blue one had a belt to hide that unfortunate gaping and thank goodness the split on the yellow one is not as high as it is on the model.

I like the modifications to Rachel’s skirt. The fit at the bust leaves a little to be desired

I like the vintage appeal of the “twin” dresses. I wish the green one still had the belt to hide the unfortunate gap. The slit on the yellow dress does not look as high as the one on the model — thank goodness.

The first look is sleek and refreshing. The other two are way too busy.

The one in the green dress should have worn the belt to avoid the unfortunate gap. The “twin” dresses are cute in a vintage kind of way though the yellow one on the model has way too deep a slit.
