After stepping out in a languid red slip dress, Dakota Fanning switched gears again, returning to volume at ‘The Alienist’ New York premiere on Tuesday (January 16).

The actress’s asymmetrical Givenchy Spring 2018 dress had a moody romance with the cascade of black ruffles.

Never one to overdo it with accessories, she completed the flowing ensemble with strappy sandals and a flick of eyeliner for a punk touch.
