Mindy Kaling In Prabal Gurung – 2017 Met Gala

Mindy Kaling attended the 2017 Met Gala on Monday (May 1).

The multi-talented star wore a Prabal Gurung gown with Monique Péan jewels.

I simply love Mindy, and her colorful, exuberant approach to fashion, which is why I am beyond disappointed in this gown. It isn’t anything but fresh. I mean, we’ve seen variations of this at least a thousand times, right? A fact that is exaggerated by the fact that the shape is completely unflattering on Mindy.

I take that back–I actually love the neckline, and it is graceful and looks lovely across Mindy’s décolleté, but from the bust down, this completely disappoints for me.

Am I missing something? Are you guys a fan of this look?
