FKA twigs In Alexander McQueen – Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty Exhibition Private View

FKA twigs attended the private view for the ‘Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty’ exhibition held at the Victoria & Albert Museum on Thursday (March 12) in London, England, having recently worn a McQueen look to the 2015 Brit Awards.

The Alexander McQueen Spring 2008 collection is still one of my favourites, so I was ecstatic the musician selected one of the many vibrant pieces from said collection.

Looking like she’s about to take flight, I love how the feather embroidery enhances the butterfly-print chiffon gown.

It’s a hard look to pull off with the fear of getting lost in all that detail, but FKA twigs more than holds her own, simply styling the look with black Christian Louboutin ‘Echasse’ sandals and Shaun Leane jewels.
