Evan Rachel Wood In Altuzarra – 2017 SAG Awards

Evan Rachel Wood continued her androgynous streak at the 2017 SAG Awards in LA on Sunday (January 29).

The ‘Westworld’ actress cut quite a figure wore in a custom blue velvet suit by Altuzarra with a Judith Leiber Swarovski crystal clutch and Salvatore Ferragamo shoes.

Menswear looks work best when they are as perfectly fitted as this, and have complementary hair and makeup that are just as striking.

For an extra bit of edge, the back of the jacket features a cutout near the neck that ensures she looks good from all angles.

Teresa Palmer In Valentino – 2017 SAG Awards

Teresa Palmer was one of the stars in attendance of the 2017 SAG Awards in LA on Sunday (January 29).

The Australian actress hit all the right style notes in this Valentino Spring 2017 dress, with its standout pink, red and black beading and column shape.

Styled with flats on the catwalk, this gown is easily dressed up or down, and we love Teresa’s take on it, with her loose hair waves and the black clutch.

Natalie Portman In Christian Dior Couture – 2017 SAG Awards

Natalie Portman hit the red carpet at the 2017 SAG Awards in LA on Sunday (January 29).

The pregnant actress wore an ivory Christian Dior Spring 2017 couture gown with gorgeous diamond Tiffany & Co. jewels.

While I am typically a huge proponent for wearing non-maternity clothes when you’re pregnant, I’m afraid I just can’t love this dress on Natalie. She has had to size it up so large to fit her burgeoning belly that she simply looks like she’s wearing a sack with cool sleeves.

However, from the neck up, Natalie is perfection. Her textured updo is graceful and elegant and her mauve smokey eyes, pink cheeks and lips are gorgeous.

Amy Adams In Brandon Maxwell – 2017 SAG Awards

Amy Adams also attended the 2017 SAG Awards in LA on Sunday (January 29).

The actress, nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role for the film ‘Arrival’, looked simply stunning in this elegant, no bells or whistles Brandon Maxwell Spring 2017 dress.

It hugged Amy in all the right places, and if you look closely, it has a triple-layered Cartier High Jewelry neckline which just adds a bit more dimension to this plain black gown.

You can’t go wrong with a dress like this, and although I love it when Amy makes more of a statement, she does the minimal look so well too.

Matching neck and wrist bling finish this look perfectly!

Julie Bowen In J. Mendel- 2017 SAG Awards

Julie Bowen attended the 2017 SAG Awards in LA on Sunday (January 29).

The ‘Modern Family’ actress wore an intricate white gown from J.Mendel’s Spring 2017 collection.

The peekaboo aspect of the gown is interesting but the colour doesn’t allow her to standout.

Some contrasting accessories, and perhaps bolder jewelry would help to liven up this look.

Ariel Winter in Mikael D – 2017 SAG Awards

Ariel Winter attended the 2017 SAG Awards in LA on Sunday (January 29).

The ‘Modern Family’ actress made quite an impression wearing a metallic gold Mikael D gown.

The figure-hugging dress with sheer panels is in line with her more grownup looks as of late, though hopefully her style continues to evolve and doesn’t become and endless parade of mermaid gowns.

Salma Hayek In Gucci – 2017 SAG Awards

Salma Hayek attended the 2017 SAG Awards in LA on Sunday (January 29).

She chose to wear this canary yellow Gucci gown which was a breath of fresh air to this red carpet, which up to this point was awash with sequins and dark colours.

It’s no surprise really that Salma chose Gucci, it’s one brand she stays loyal to, and this was head and shoulders better than her Gucci faux pas from earlier this week.

The yellow is a great colour on her – her olive complexion sets it off perfectly, and the pink is a lovely contrast too. We could have lost either the corsage or the sash though… the pink edge of the ruffle was enough.

Colourful Irene Neuwirth earrings finished her look.
