Jane Fonda In Mary Katrantzou – L’Oreal Cannes Event

Jane Fonda embraced print at the L’Oreal event during the Cannes Film Festival on Saturday (May 12), joining Aishwarya Rai.

The legendary actress struck a pose in a Mary Katrantzou Resort 2018 gown which showcased the designer’s capability of creating patterns that enhance the body.

The clever abstract design is reminiscent of a peacock with the full skirt echoing the exquisite fan of colour of the animal’s tail, creating a luxurious finish.

Sarah Flint shoes and ornate jewels elevated the glamour.

Thandie Newton In Valentino – ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ Cannes Film Festival Photocall

Thandie Newton captured the breezy spirit of the Cannes Film Festival at the ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ photocall on Tuesday (May 15).

The majority were delighted by her Richard Quinn floral confection at the Virgin TV BAFTA Television Awards and I’m hoping this Valentino Fall 2018 look is as well received.

It’s the sort of ensemble that demonstrates how the daywear at the festival can be just as striking as the dramatic evening gowns.

With its vivid print and soft shapes, it has a carefree glamorous sentiment and her styling played perfectly into it.

Laura Harrier In Louis Vuitton – ‘Blackkklansman’ Cannes Film Festival Photocall

Following the premiere, Laura Harrier was back on the red carpet for the Cannes Film Festival photocall for ‘Blackkklansman’ this afternoon (May 15).

The young actress was wearing Louis Vuitton once again, selecting a look from the Fall 2018 collection.

At first glance this dress may seem minimal, but the strap which defines the drop waist plus collar embellishments, fills the fine detail quota.

The shoes perfectly tie in with this story.

Blackkklansman’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere Red Carpet Roundup

There was no shortage of high octane fashion at the premiere of ‘Blackkklansman’ at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival on Monday evening (May 14). Celebrities joined Damaris LewisLaura Harrier and Naomi Campbell.

Natasha Poly: The pastel purple hue brought an ethereal quality to the unabashed sexiness of her Atelier Versace Spring 2018 dress. It had every sensual element and came to life when in motion. I’m of two minds about removing the front skirt panel as it often seems like it’s in the way.

Winnie Harlow: The vivid green hue of her Ralph & Russo Spring 2018 Haute Couture outfit has such a bewitching quality and looks wonderful with her complexion. Alas, the material is not holding up very well for a couture look. It’s rather wilted.

Chopard Trophée Red Carpet Roundup

Cate Blanchett and Elizabeth Debicki stepped out at the Cannes Film Festival Chopard Trophée event on Monday evening (May 14), alongside Araya A. Hargate and Diane Kruger.

Cate Blanchett: This Armani Prive gown exudes the regal, ethereal finish that demonstrates why the actress and designer are such a wonderful pairing. The dress might lack bold orientation but the exquisite tailoring is apparent with it seamlessly combining structure and fluidity. The multicoloured necklace brought the megawatt sparkle.

Elizabeth Debicki: Also in soft tones, the actress wore a Miu Miu gown that was trimmed in rhinestones for a captivating finish. The embellishment enhances the lines of the dress as well as her figure while creating interesting movement.
