21.01.10 Runway To Red Carpet

FC and I nearly fell off our chairs when we saw Zoe Lister in this Alexander McQueen two tone zig zag dress!
When did Hollyoaks go high fashion?!
For those of you who aren’t familiar with Zoe Lister, or Hollyoaks, it’s a teen soap here in Britain. And not a very good one at that.
Zoe has worn this dress with black shoes and a clutch. Frankly I’m not a fan of black accessories but I guess credit where credit’s due.
What next? Katie Price in Victoria Beckham Collection?

After recently announcing her pregnancy Dannii Minogue shows no signs of slowing down in the style stakes.
Looking positively glowing in this black and white striped vintage prom dress, Dannii arrived to the National Television Awards with her boyfriend Kris Smith.
I love the way this dress kicks out to reveal a lace underlay.
Red shoes complete the look and give the dress the pop of colour it needs.

One big trend stood out at the 2010 National Television Awards – Purple. A trend we saw on the red carpet at the Golden Globes last weekend.
Ex wife of Sir Paul McCartney, Heather Mills arrived at the awards wearing a strapless floor length purple gown. I’m still not sure about her new pixie hairstyle.
Coronation Street actress Kym Marsh wore a purple floor length dress with a pleated detail at the front to pick up the award for Best Serial Drama with her co stars.
Champion Ice Skater, Jane Torvill wore a knee length ruffle detail dress but I wish she’d left those tights where they belong - on the ice rink.
Television presenter Fearne Cotton wore a purple mini dress with a double bow detail at the back, which is available to buy from Very.co.uk
Angelica Bell wore a Grecian style floaty Marchesa gown with a jeweled detail on the bust.
Jackie St Claire arrived with her ex squeeze Simon Cowell and was wearing a layered purple floor length dress.
Purple continues to reign.

21.01.10 Runway To Red Carpet

We had no doubts that Cheryl Cole would upstage everyone at the 2010 National Television Awards.
She looked stunning in this dove grey Stéphane Rolland Fall 2009 Couture gown paired with David Morris jewels.
Cheryl’s gown was fully lined and modified from the runway as her gown didn’t have sleeves.
I particularly love the clasp detail at the waist, and the way that the dress falls around her feet.
I’m not particularly overjoyed about the cuffs, but I’ll let it go seeing as everything else is so perfect.
Cheryl is huge fan of Stéphane Rolland as she wore his looks during week 8 and week 9 of the X Factor live shows, plus on her TV show Cheryl’s Night In.
We love Cheryl when she channels Couture.
She was our Couture Queen of 2009, will she retain her title in 2010?
