Tom Ford Fall 2015 Front Row

Tom Ford Fall 2015 Front Row

While some editors and models were headed to London for round two of fashion month, Anna Wintour, Karlie Kloss and Joan Smalls headed west for the Tom Ford Fall 2015 show which was showcased in LA on Friday (February 20).

The result, a packed A-List front row of which nineteen looks have been featured.

With the Oscars on Sunday and with everyone in town, it was quite a master-stroke to host the show in LA this weekend.

Julianne Moore: The actress was no doubt top of the guest list working a Spring 2015 green ensemble festooned with feathers, sequins and camo print. I would not bet against Julianne wearing Tom Ford on Sunday despite the Givenchy run up.

Gwyneth Paltrow: I expected a bit more from Gwynie. This cold shoulder Pre-Fall 2015 LBD feels a bit been there done that and boring for such an occasion.

The Carters: He was looking mighty dapper in a signature wide lapel suit, while she was looking bootylicious in a typically sheer embellished Spring 2014 creation.

Sienna Miller In Calvin Klein – Calvin Klein Fall 2015 Show

Sienna Miller In Calvin Klein - Calvin Klein Fall 2015 Show

Usually there is a packed celeb front row at Calvin Klein, however, this season the honour went to Sienna Miller, who was perched next to Anna Wintour at Spring Studios on Thursday (February 19) in New York City for the brand’s Fall 2015 show.

The British actress, who made her Broadway debut in ‘Cabaret’ earlier this week, wore an all-white – sans the heavy platform shoes – Pre-Fall 2015 Calvin Klein Collection ivory leather patchwork jacket and knit dress.

Bare legs aside, this look strides forward with a wintery impression. I love this for its effortlessness and the cool-girlish charm Sienna brings to the table.

Julianne Moore & Dakota Johnson In BOSS – BOSS Fall 2015 Front Row

Julianne Moore & Dakota Johnson In BOSS - BOSS Fall 2015 Front Row

While the front row at Michael Kors was full of colour and print, things were very different at the BOSS Fall 2015 show, which was presented during New York Fashion Week on Wednesday (February 18) in New York City.

Julianne Moore: Staking her claim as the reigning queen of all things black, the actress selected a luxe wool overcoat I want to own right now, with a simple black dress oozing the elegance and simplicity of a BOSS woman. Her accessories really helped cap off a stellar look. This is perhaps one of my favourite looks this fashion week.

Dakota Johnson: The actress, whose promo tour has consisted of only black and white, kept that theme going, adding a touch of grey to her look via a BOSS wool coat. Like Julianne, the look was also chic but in a much more relaxed manner. If Julianne’s look was to be labelled Editor-in-Chief, Dakota would be Deputy editor.

Blake Lively In Marchesa – Marchesa Fall 2015 Front Row

Blake Lively In Marchesa - Marchesa Fall 2015 Front Row

Blake Lively made her second appearance during New York Fashion Week at the Marchesa Fall 2015 show held at the St Regis Hotel on Wednesday (February 18) in New York City, where she was seated next to her BFF Anna Wintour.

Making the Marchesa Spring 2015 organza bird-print flared skirt the focal point, she styled the look with both complementary black – halter top and Gucci clutch – and yellow – Louboutin pumps – pieces.

I know some might take issue with this look, but I think she looks lovely.

This is much more flattering for her than her previous look, plus it showcases a daintier, softer side to her style we don’t see too often.

A selection of jewels, including ear climbers from Lorraine Schwartz, and a slicked-back do rounded out her look.

Tessa Thompson Front Row @ Giulietta, Jenny Packham & Rodarte’s Fall 2015 Shows

Tessa Thompson Front Row @ Giulietta, Jenny Packham & Rodarte's Fall 2015 Shows

With New York Fashion Week coming to a close today, here is a quick look at ‘Selma’ star Tessa Thompson’s front row looks.

Giulietta: I love that she didn’t go for a safe option, not that there are many with Giulietta’s collections. With all her fellow FROWers opting for comfort in their heavy coats, the beauty stood out in her colourful threads.

Jenny Packham: Sadly this look really fell flat for me. The unflattering dress, the styling (especially the coat and hair) – nothing really excited me about this look.

Rodarte: Now this was more like it. Having shut down the red carpet in Rodarte at the ‘Selma’ New York premiere, the actress was no doubt first on the designer’s front row list. Dying over that studded boot/leggings combo, I also love the flamenco flare via the ruffled shirt. There is a lot going on, but it totally works for me (perhaps minus the oversized clutch). What say you?
