Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Nina Dobrev’s final look this weekend was at Entertainment Weekly’s 6th Annual Comic-Con Celebration on Saturday in San Diego, California.

Opting to show off her legs once again she wore a Jenny Packham mini dress.

Her tangerine 3/4-sleeve shift dress with black deco beading was styled with Jimmy Choo ‘Gio’ leather and suede ankle boots.

Keeping her accessories light to allow the dress to be the focus, she added a black Jimmy Choo ‘Tube’ clutch.

I love the edgy boots with this dress, which add a youthful touch to this look, but I would’ve loved her to have worn her hair up on this occasion.

Of Nina’s three looks, which was your favourite?

Mine was her Katherine Kidd look.

Emily Blunt, who is a fan favorite both on and off the screen, attended the ‘Looper’ panel Friday at Comic-Con International 2012, held in San Diego, California.

Blunt was the image of ladylike perfection in a cream Christian Dior dress. While we’ve seen stars take a much more literal interpretation of the Comic-Con dresscode (paging Jessica Biel), Blunt does manage to spice up her demure frock with a good old pop of color — courtesy of Sergio Rossi and Anna Beck jewels.

I love Blunts bold lip and no-fuss accessories, but since Comic-Con is the perfect opportunity to get a little playful with wardrobe choices, it would have been fun to see her take a step outside of the proverbial box. A statement necklace or bold belt would have added another dimension to Dior’s “perfect for tea” creation.

What do you think? Are you head over heels for Blunt’s comic book chic look? Or do you think she could have pushed the envelope a little more?

Lea Michele joined the discussion panel for ‘Glee’ during Comic-Con 2012 on Saturday in San Diego, California.

The actress wore a leather lapel Stella & Jamie black tweed jacket and a matching skirt to which she added a Bec & Bridge cream pointelle bodysuit.

I love everything about this look. It’s young, fresh, chic yet not too formal for the event.

The addition of red Nicholas Kirkwood ankle-strap platform pumps provide a perfect colour pop to this look.

At one time we struggled to like Lea’s bangs, but on this occasion her highlighted long wavy locks suit her face.

Opting to highlight her eyes, Lea completed her look with a nude lip colour.

Nina Dobrev second look during Comic-Con 2012 was one of my favourites.

Dressed in an uber-cute Katharine Kidd romper, the young actress attended the discussion panel for ‘The Vampire Diaries’ looking summer ready.

Her casual white belted look from the Spring 2012 collection has a pleated neckline which is more visible on the model.

I love the addition of the black-and-white Dolce & Gabbana lace pumps, yet I can’t help wishing she had added some on-trend neon pumps.

Straight, sleek locks and glossy lips completed her look.

With most stars at Comic-Con 2012 opting for laidback casual looks, Ginnifer Goodwin decided to up the ante, fashion wise.

Dressed in a Valentino Fall 2012 dress to Entertainment Weekly’s 6th Annual Comic-Con Celebration on Saturday in San Diego, California, the actress looked like she’d just stepped off a photo shoot for a glossy magazine.

Her long-sleeve red dress with a beautiful scalloped neckline and hem was paired with red Christian Louboutin spiked and pointed toes to add an edge to her feminine look.

A selection of rings including a Plukka ‘Blanc de Chine’ ring, slicked-back hair, black cat eye makeup, and a natural pink lip colour provided the finishing touches.

I adore this look from head to toe. Do you?

Kerry Washington posed for photographers on the red carpet at the discussion panel for ‘Django Unchained’ during Comic-Con 2012 on Saturday in San Diego, California.

The actress teamed an A.L.C. black leather button-down sleeveless shirt with a bold J. Mendel Resort 2013 floral-print high-waisted A-line skirt.

I adore that striking J. Mendel floral print, but the overall styling is quite bad by Kerry’s standards.

The leather top, which looks tight around the bust, was a bad idea as was the purple belt with the gold accent.

I also dislike the clunky footwear. What a difference an orange pair of Jimmy Choo ‘Lance’ sandals, Nicholas Kirkwoods or Christian Louboutin ‘Pigalles’ would have made.

Minimal jewels, a bouffant ponytail with side-swept bangs and a bold red lip colour completed her rather disappointing look.
