Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Camilla Belle attended the “Father Of Invention” premiere last night during Berlin’s Film Festival.

Looking fabulous in fuchsia Camilla dazzles wearing a Marchesa chiffon draped dress with an embroidered bodice detail.

Her look was accessorized with an eggplant Marchesa satin rose clutch which created a nice contrast.

The colour of this gown is amazing against her milky complexion, and I LOVE the nude lips.

Some times a nude lip doesn’t always work for the wearer, but in this case it enhances Camilla’s features.

Not that I needed much motivation, but this has got me very much excited for the Marchesa Fall 2010 presentation tomorrow.

What is this? Groundhog day?

First Demi, now Renee Zellweger.

Renee walked the red carpet at the Berlin Film Festival last night for the “Tuan Yuan” premiere wearing a petrol blue – probably Carolina Herrera – gown which looks so very familiar.

The silhouette, the colour, the bodice, the hairstyle. Everything screams we’ve seen it all before.

I used to love Renee’s style, now I’m tiring of this same old, same old.

Despite my rant this is a stunning gown with a bow detail on the back, and as always her body is well toned.

What a perfect vision to wake-up to this morning in New York.

Tilda Swinton looked breath-taking at the “Tuan Yuan” Premiere during Berlin Film Festival last night.

A lot of you may think I only like dramatic heavily embellished gowns, but simple elegant gowns like this blue Haider Ackermann Spring 2010 gown can equally knock me off my feet.

The first time Tilda wore a Haider Ackermann look she made it on my Best Dressed of The Year list.

It’s way to early to predict this will make it, but I just love the way the dress wraps around her body.

The outstanding one-sleeved dress has an open back and sexy subtle thigh-high split that is definitely has her in contention for BDOTW.

There has been much discussion today about the YSL caged heels, and who actually wore them first.

David has kindly pointed out that it was in fact Tilda Swinton and not Becki Newton, as I had stated earlier nor, Ciara, as kindly pointed out by Profashionelle.

Tilda wore the silver caged heels with a dove grey YSL Spring 2009 pant suit, during the Berlin Film Festival last month, when she attended the premiere of The Dust Of Time.

Regular readers will remember that I kinda disowned Tilda during that time, as she was sporting some frock horrors, and as a result I missed this look. And it’s not at all bad, in fact this is one of her best looks this year, so thanks to David who made me go back and search for this.

If you are lusting after these heels as much as myself and Nik, you can purchase them at Matches Fashion, who have the YSL Booties for £905. Whereas Luisa via Roma have the YSL cage boots (€1,100), the YSL cage booties (€890) and the YSL cage sandals (€650).

There is something very charming about Keira Knightley’s boyish Chloé Pre-Fall 2009 ensemble, which she wore to the Cheri premiere, during Berlin Film Festival last night.

Unfortunatley it’s her hair that ruins this look for me. The curly hair does not quite suit this edgy look, and the bangs are too heavy and too blunt.

The British actress completed her look with Chanel diamond studded heels, and of course a Chanel purse.

I’m well aware of Tilda Swinton’s unusual style, but usually that’s what makes her so fantastic.

As one of the judges at the Berlin Film Festival she has walked many red carpets. On this occasion, it’s just not working. I’ve been trying to ignore Tilda since the opening ceremony, but I couldn’t ignore the hat she wore last night to the Cheri premiere.

I know it must be bitterly cold in Berlin, as it is here in London, but a bit of pizazz or creative flair, would really warm my heart.

I prayed it wouldn’t get any worse, and it did.
