Moschino Fall 2014 Front Row

Moschino Fall 2014 Front Row

After the Brit Awards on Wednesday night, both Rita Ora and Katy Perry hopped on a flight to Milan to support their friend Jeremy Scott, who was presenting his first runway show for Moschino during Fall 2014 Milan Fashion Week.

Both appeared to get the black-and-gold memo.

Rita Ora: With nothing but a T-shirt on, the singer styled her logo-emblazoned piece with black pumps with a gold toecap and a rather unique bag which was shaped like a quilted-leather chain-accented jacket. Still keeping the glamorous wavy ‘do she rocked at the Brits, she completed the look with – you guessed it – a glossy red pout.

Katy Perry: The singer opted for considerably more clothing, wearing a Moschino logo tee with a black satin pencil skirt and gold-chain-accented tweed coat for a more chilled ladylike look. Also opting for Moschino toecap pumps and a quilted bag, the singer added a cute polka-dotted bow-accented hair accessory to round out her look.

Be sure to see both ladies wearing the Jeremy Scott for Moschino Fall 2014 collection on a stage or red carpet very soon.

Rose Byrne In Max Mara – Milan Fashion Week

Rose Byrne In Max Mara - Milan Fashion Week

Rose Byrne will be the next recipient of the Women In Film Max Mara Face of the Future Award® in recognition of her outstanding acting achievement and embodiment of style and grace.

Max Mara Dinner: The celebrations started last night with the Australian actress wearing a Max Mara black dress accented with a gold-trimmed leather belt for a simple, chic look.

Max Mara Fall 2014 Show: For the runway show earlier today during Milan Fashion Week, her style credentials were on full display as she worked a Max Mara black silk tuxedo jacket, cream silk trousers and a sexy gold lamé tank top. Oozing elegance, she rounded out her look with a Max Mara shoulder bag and sleek tresses.

The second look floors me. I would love to put this up for BDOTW.

MFW Spring 2014 Red Carpet Wish List

MFW 1

Alberta Ferretti: Ariel Winter would look totally adorable on the red carpet at the Teen Choice Awards wearing this pretty floaty floral piece.

Bottega Veneta: There are a few tricky pieces in this collection that may not translate too well on the red carpet; however, I can see Maggie Gyllenhaal wearing this look. She has a tendency to veer towards shapeless dresses, so this could work well for her.

Anna Dello Russo In Gucci, Dsquared² & Celine – Milan Fashion Week Day 1

Anna Dello Russo In Gucci, Dsquared² & Celine - Milan Fashion Week Day 1

Anna Dello Russo attended three shows during the first day of Milan Fashion Week, so of course the editor gave us three fabulous wardrobe changes.

Gucci: Seated alongside Blake Lively, Anna wore a Gucci Made to Measure suit from Lapo Elkann’s capsule collection. The cream wool one-button tuxedo with contrasting black peak lapels and a white cotton pleated-front tuxedo shirt was styled with a sleek black silk bowtie, a pair of black velvet Gucci heels and Miu Miu Rasoir sunglasses. Anna works this menswear look so well. I am enamoured of every piece of the look – even the quirky bowtie and geeky glasses.

Dsquared²: For her second show of the day she changed into another suit, this time in black by Dsquared². Keeping the Miu Miu Rasoir glasses, she opted for a smaller bowtie on this occasion and leather shorts, with her chic carryon being a Valentino ‘Rockstud’ bag.

Alberta Ferretti: For her final show of the day Anna wore a Celine Fall 2013 light-grey cashmere clean-lined wool dress that hugged the waist and featured tied sleeves. Keeping both her glasses and clutch from DSquared2, she added yet another quirk via her Mohawk black sandals.

I have to say I adore all three looks, but the Celine has to be my favourite. What could’ve been a so-so look is enlivened by the accessories.
