Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Rosamund Pike attended the 2010 British Independent Film Awards in London last night wearing a refreshing mix of colours.

She looked young and fresh wearing a Vionnet Spring 2011 dress.

The blue and black dress with white and coral stripes has a plunging neckline and a draped detail from the shoulder.

I love the mix of colours and the length of skirt which shows off her long legs.

Her look was paired with Charlotte Olympia heels which also help elongate her legs.

Emma Watson has been sporting a cropped hairstyle for the last few months.

Some of us immediately liked it and some of us hated it.

Her biggest challenge was to make it work on the red carpet.

Tonight in London she arrived with her co-stars Rupert Grint and Daniel Radcliffe to attend the Warner Bros Leavesden Studios photocall held at Claridges.

She opted to wear a Vionnet Fall 2010 dress.

Her midnight blue one-sleeved velvet dress doesn’t have the same chiffon layered skirt which was presented on the model.

I do like this look on Emma, but I’m not a fan of her accessories.

The necklace and earrings feel too much.

I’m not sure if she’s was over compensating because of her new hairstyle, but I would’ve preferred her to wear more subtle accessories.

I do however love the rouge lips.

Carey Mulligan looked beautiful on the red carpet for the 2010 London Film Festival Premiere for “Never Let Me Go”.

She also wore one of her favourite designers: Vionnet.

You may remember she wore this designer to the BAFTAs this year.

This time she wore a gorgeous Vionnet colour-block halter dress with Giuseppe Zanotti for Vionnet gold wedges from the Spring 2011 collection.

She’s lacking in energy here but her hair, dress and shoes are so beautiful that’s all I can focus on.

This is Rebecca Hall’s second Vionnet Resort 2011 look in as many weeks.

The British actress arrived on the red carpet at “The Town” London Premiere yesterday with Ben Affleck wearing a Vionnet Resort 2011 sheer dress with a black pattern.

Her draped dress was worn with a nude underlay and tan leather belt.

Rebecca has been making huge improvements on the red carpet and this is another winning look for me.

Nicholas Kirkwood heels with a scalloped leather trim completes her look.

For those who are wondering Blake Lively didn’t attend this premiere.

After promoting her new movie “Never Let Me Go” at the 2010 Toronto Film Festival, Carey Mulligan’s next stop was New York.

She’s attended the premiere wearing an Elie Saab Fall 2010 dress.

The black lace and tulle cocktail dress with ribbon details is one of her best looks in a long while.

Not because she’s wearing my favourite designer, but because it’s such a refreshing change to see her wearing something that doesn’t age her.

I love the hair. It’s amazing how many styles she’s giving us with her blonde pixie cut.

We don’t usually see Carey wearing this much make-up, but the strong look works well for her.

She dazzled wearing Everlon Diamond Knot jewels.

Before leaving Toronto, Carey attended a press conference for “Never Let Me Go” at the Hyatt Regency.

She wore a Vionnet Resort 2011 brown crêpe de chine dress which she paired with leopard print Prada heels.

I’m not crazy about the hair and make-up (or lack thereof it) on this occasion, but I’m glad she removed the slashed sleeves.

I’ve arrived in NYC, impatiently waiting for my room to be ready, but it’s a great time to catch up.

With Blake Lively twirling in Marchesa at “Fashion’s Night Out: The Show”, her co-star Rebecca Hall was holding the forte on the red carpet during the 2010 Venice Film Festival today.

The British actress was joined on the red carpet by Director Ben Affleck and the dashing Jon Hamm for the premiere of their new movie “The Town”.

Rebecca looked beautiful wearing a Vionnet Resort 2010 gown.

Her blue signature draped gown was beautiful against her pale skin.

The gown had slashed sleeves for dramatic effect and a sexy keyhole detail.

As much as I love the dress I’m not loving her hair swept to one side.

For the photocall earlier in the day she wore a Prada Resort 2011 dress.

I’m surprising myself by loving this look more than her red carpet look.

I love how playful the orange floral print silk flutter sleeve dress is, considering Rebecca usually goes for quite conservative no fuss looks.

Her impressive Prada Resort 2011 accessories included stacked resin bangles and nude platforms.

Which do you prefer?

Her premiere or photocall look?
