Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Victoria Beckham was one of the many fashionable guests who attended the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Event held at the Chateau Marmont in LA, California, yesterday evening.

The designer represented her brand very well wearing a look from her recent Spring 2013 collection.

Her spring white look appears to be perfect for the sunny California climes, but I wish she hadn’t worn the sunglasses an this event as we always see her in sunglasses.

The look features a white shirt with lace sleeves styled with a matching white A-line skirt.

Nude Manolo Blahnik for Victoria Beckham open-toe booties and a two-tone white nude clutch perfectly accessorized her look.

It’s so refreshing to see her wearing a colour other than black, don’t you agree?

Naomi Watts attended the 2012 Take Home a Nude Benefit Art Auction at Sotheby’s yesterday in New York City.

The actress wore a look from the Victoria Beckham Fall 2012 collection.

Her mushroom coloured dress with maroon cuffs and matching collar was styled with nude Christian Louboutin peep-toe ankle boots with multiple buckles and a mauve Valentino ‘Rockstud Lock’ shoulder bag.

Call me overly picky, but I would’ve preferred it had Naomi carried the bag as a clutch. I can’t say I’m too fond of the nude shoes either.

The dress on the other hand is perfection.

You may remember that Victoria Beckham wore this dress back in April this year.

There were many more stars decked out in J. Mendel for the 3rd Annual Autumn Party benefiting the Children’s Institute, which was held at The London Hotel rooftop in West Hollywood, California.

Brittany Snow: The actress wore a J. Mendel brocade strapless dress with origami folds and waist-cinching capabilities. Kohl-rimmed eyes, gold jewels and black pumps which disappeared into the black carpet completed her look.

Jamie-Lynne Sigler: Nude was Jamie’s colour of choice for this event, as she wore a nude one-sleeve J. Mendel dress with matching pumps. The ‘Guys With Kids’ actress did, however, select a gold clutch and gold jewels to prevent this look from feeling too one note.

Hannah Simone: The ‘New Girl’ actress looked sexy donning a white J. Mendel dress with a keyhole detail which hugged her curves in all the right places. Brian Atwood nude sandals completed her look.

It’s been two days since Victoria Beckham’s Spring 2013 presentation and she’s already on her second look, or third if you count the pieces individually.

The designer was spotted in lunching at Pastis in New York City with daughter Harper on Tuesday afternoon wearing a mixture of look 3 and look 19.

She wore a crisp white silk collarless shirt paired with fitted black pants. Adding separates already proves to be a winning move for VB as this look is oh so very chic.

Toting her second bag from her Spring line – this time in white – she completed her look with Manolo Blahnik pumps and signature shades.

Victoria Beckham was spotted in an all black ensemble on her way to lunch at Balthazar in New York City on Sunday, after her Spring 2013 presentation during New York Fashion Week.

Naturally, she was wearing her own designs, with head-to-toe pieces from her Spring 2013 collection, including a pair of lust-worthy Manolo Blahnik for Victoria Beckham booties.

It’s fitting that VB is the first to wear the collection and I’m hooked – from the flared mini skirt to the cinched waist.

A black Spring 2013 Victoria Beckham bag, gold watch and her signature oversized sunglasses completed her look.

Despite being critical of her all-black looks in the past, this one makes me swoon.

The one thing you can be sure of from a Victoria Beckham collection is clean lines, modern silhouettes, and of course her signature fitted dresses.

For Spring 2013 those signature dress were uber sexy with lighter fabrics, sheer yokes, lace inserts, dramatic cuts and bralets giving the dresses a lingerie-inspired feel.

Those of you saying her collections tend to be one-note will be delighted to see that VB introduced a mix of separates this season. Tailored blazers, A-line skirts, button-down blouses, cigarette pants, and miniskirts showed how the VB brand continues to evolve and grow. Plus it also proved that the designer listens to her customers and doesn’t just design for herself.

On a colour palette of black, white, nude and pops of bright orange, we also saw maxi dresses and sporty mini dresses with skater skirts and pleated hemlines, one of which Victoria wore when she took her bow.

This season we didn’t see as many bags, as VB showcased a selection of clutches with two chain-accented shoulder bags with studded details closing the show.

After working with many shoe designers in the past, VB teamed up with Manolo Blahnik on this occasion. They created sexy open-toe booties, some two-tone, flat lace-up sandals and two-tone brogues.

Although we didn’t see any red carpet gowns on this occasion, I’m sure there will be some off-runway pieces which will make it to the red carpet as well as many pieces from the runway.

Front Row: David Beckham, Maria Sharapova, Anna Wintour and Anna Dello Russo

Favourites: Mini dress with pleated skirt and nude fitted dress

Who I See Wearing This Collection: Blake Lively, Eva Longoria, Nieves Alvarez, Penelope Cruz, Eva Mendes, Charlize Theron, Emma Stone, Carey Mulligan, Nina Dobrev, Jennifer Lawrence, Emily Blunt, Allison Williams, Jennifer Lopez, Odette Annable, Jennifer Lopez, Beyonce Knowles, Cameron Diaz and Victoria Beckham….of course
