Selena Gomez In Coach, Proenza Schouler & Victoria Beckham – Out In New York City

Selena Gomez made her way around New York City this week promoting the upcoming Netflix show ’13 Reasons Why’, on which she is an executive producer.

Look 1: On Wednesday (February 8), Selena looked playful and fun in a floral Coach dress with a letterman-inspired bomber jacket over top. Black peep-toe Givenchy heels added a touch of sophistication to the youthful ensemble.

Look 2: Later the same day (you can see an assistant behind her carrying her jacket!), Selena changed into a black and white houndstooth-print Proenza Schouler Spring 2017 dress. Unfortunately, I’m having a much harder time with this look. There is just one too many ideas going on, and the proportions seem off–maybe one less peek-a-boo opening would help?

Look 3: Finally, Selena was seen leaving the 19th annual amfAR’s New York Gala wearing a look from Victoria Beckham’s Pre-Fall 2017 collection. The bold colour-blocking, extended sleeves and men’s shirt detailing show Selena’s love of fashion even if it’s well outside her M.O., and proves her recent commitment to a more grown-up look. This look has been worn by VB herself.

Victoria Beckham In Victoria Beckham – Out In New York City

Those of you loving Victoria Beckham’s bold embrace of colour may be left craving a splash of it in her latest New York City look on Wednesday (February 8).

She gave the kaleidoscope of hues a break and wore a black Victoria Beckham ensemble consisting of a long coat and loose-fitting pants, styled with Celine shades, sneakers, and the Victoria Beckham ‘Half Moon’ bag.

Even though this was a less colourful look, it commanded a certain sporty-chic power that was casually unforced—and all the stronger for that reason.

Victoria Beckham In Victoria Beckham – Out In New York

Victoria Beckham was your BDOTW last week, as you clearly loved her embrace of the colour spectrum, and she continued her bold streak while out in New York over the past few days in advance of New York Fashion Week.

Look 1: On Monday (February 6), she modeled a Victoria Beckham red ribbed long sweater and skirt enlivened by the bright blue blouse underneath. Her favoured Celine flat-top visors as well as Victoria Beckham black half-booties completed the simple yet statement-making look.

Look 2: Making a quick change that same day, she kept the saturated shades going strong in this pumpkin-orange Victoria Beckham Pre-Fall 2017 extended-sleeve dress. While the silhouette draped away from the body, the button accents and shaping still provided a flattering awareness of form. Swapping the same style of VB shoes seen earlier for this cerulean-blue pair, she wrapped up the look with a quirky pop of colour.

Look 3: This may have been her least colourful look, seen on Tuesday (February 7), but it was no less impactful. While the palette was more muted, the rich burgundy sweater paired with Victoria Beckham wide-leg gray trousers made for chic companions—especially when accessorized with the Victoria Beckham ‘Half Moon’ bag that finished the ensemble with a crisp white spark.

Allison Williams In Victoria Beckham – 6th Annual NFL Honors

After promoting the final season of ‘Girls,’ Allison Williams turned her attention to football at the 6th Annual NFL Honors, held on Saturday (February 4) in Houston.

While the actress kept it simple in an LBD by Victoria Beckham, she wore its quiet allure rather beautifully with voluminous waves and a glossy nude lip.

The chunkier heels are a bit of an acquired taste, but here they lend a bit of youthful quirkiness that actually ends up working.

Best Dressed Of The Week Victoria Beckham In Victoria Beckham & Alessandra Ambrosio In Alessandra Rich and Talbot Runhof

Adding up all the votes from my social channels, your best dressed from last week was Victoria Beckham. I guess this means you believe – like me – that she should wear colour more often.

I usually opt for colour, but the style and elegance of Alessandra Ambrosio in Alessandra Rich and Talbot Runhof was my clear winner.

Amy Adams In Victoria Beckham – SAG-AFTRA Foundation’s Conversations

Amy Adams made an appearance at the SAG-AFTRA Foundation’s Conversations on Tuesday (January 24) in LA.

Rather than wear the off-white Victoria Beckham Resort 2017 blouse with its knife-pleat skirt as presented, she switched it up with a more simplified black pencil skirt that featured the same retro, micro-floral print.

Rupert Sanderson sandals completed the look that was casually chic and refined.

Victoria Beckham In Victoria Beckham – Out In Paris

Victoria Beckham was seen out in Paris on Monday (January 23), where her street style once again proves she serves as one of the best models for her eponymous brand especially as it continues to evolve.

The colour combination was what was most striking here between the sky-blue Victoria Beckham blouse and the Victoria Beckham Resort 2017 rust-orange wide-leg trousers.

But, also significant was the luxe fluidity of the relaxed silhouette that vaguely hinted at the figure while draping away from the body.

Signature flat top visors from her eyewear collection and a Victoria Beckham burgundy clutch were a chic finish to this look that was at once understated yet boldly compelling.
