Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Some of you didn’t like Jennifer Lawrence’s hairstyle for ‘The Hunger Games’ London premiere, so last night in Paris she gave you a fresh new do.

Jennifer’s blonde hair was swept behind one ear with side-parted blunt cut bangs.

My immediate reaction was to dislike the look, but it then grew on me pretty quickly.

After sporting two back-to-back similar dresses and hairstyles she had to shake things up.

Jennifer cashed in her gold for a sleek black Tom Ford fitted dress with a zipper detail which snaked around her open-back to her hip.

Her sexy look did have a hint of gold, as she added Tom Ford gold platform heels to her look.

Red lippie provided the finishing touch.

Too bold or a step in the right direction?

Julianne Moore’s next stop in promoting her TV movie ‘Game Change’ was Washington, DC yesterday evening.

As you know, I love redheads wearing green, but the usually failsafe formula failed on this occasion.

Miserably.

I really dislike the velvet sleeves on her Tom Ford silk cowl-neck dress.

Once again, this could’ve been a great look had it just been stripped down and presented in a more basic manner.

Julianne’s accessories included a gold Judith Leiber clutch and gold sandals.

A towering bouffant and kohl-rimmed eyes completed her look.

Do you love or loathe this look?

Despite many of you having such strong feeling against this Gwyneth Paltorw’s Tom Ford look at the 2012 Oscars, she still won BDOTW by a very large margin.

The hair and cape seemed to bother some, but I think this was one of Gwyneth’s best ever red carpet looks, as she stood head and shoulders above everyone else who played it safe.

Her looks was clean, minimalist, understated and luxurious.

A worthy winner.

I may change my mind in the morning, but Gwyneth Paltrow was my best dressed on the red carpet tonight at the 2012 Oscars, held in Hollywood this evening.

She opted to wear a Tom Ford white dress with a uber chic cape which was recently presented at part of this ‘top secret’ Fall 2012 collection.

The designer has been waiting for a major Oscar moment since he launched his womenswear collection, and here we finally have it.

My first reaction to this was, “thank god it’s not another gold shimmering Calvin Klein bland column dress”, because lord knows she’s done that look to death.

A chic ponytail, barely-there makeup and silver jewels completed her look.

Jennifer Aniston attended the premiere of her new movie ‘Wanderlust’ at Mann Village Theatre in Westwood, California last night.

You could’ve knocked me down with a feather when I saw her wearing this Tom Ford Spring 2012 dress.

Her chevron print strapless dress is huge departure from her usual LBD red carpet uniform.

Not only is her dress not black, but it has some interest via the peplum at the waist and the leather trims.

As much as I would like to do a happy dance for this look, I think it could stand to be a few inches shorter as Jen’s best feature are her legs.

I do, however, still think this is BDOTW worthy. Do you?

Black Christian Louboutin pumps and gold cuffs on each wrist completed her look.

Anna Wintour posed alongside Donatella Versace at her exclusive launch party to celebrate the new Versace Étoile De La Mer sunglasses collection in Paris, France during Couture Fashion Week.

The editor-in-chief of American Vogue wore a Tom Ford Fall 2011 dress.

My guess would’ve been that her brown floral print pleated dress was worn with her favourite Manolo Blahnik kitten heels, because she’s wearing her favourite beaded antique Georgian collet necklace – the two accessories seem to go hand-in-hand – but on this occasion she teamed the with tan boots.

I love the violet velvet sash worn by the model, but Anna’s look vastly improved without it.

What do you think?
