Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Elizabeth Olsen attended the Atlantic Theatre Company’s Spring Gala at Chelsea Piers in New York City earlier this week, for the presentation of ‘Bring It On Home’.

The actress wore a navy dress by The Row which she teamed with an embellished Chanel boucle blazer.

Navy Chanel Spring 2012 heels completed the look.

There is not a single thing I like about this look.

First the whole ensemble ages her about 30 years. The colours are just so dull, the jacket is too big and I’m wondering what has happened to the mojo she had when she first came on the scene.

Black winter Fall coats are making for chic street-style wear at the moment.

First we had Elizabeth Banks, now Rachel McAdams.

The actress is London to promote her latest movie, ‘The Vow’.

She looked very chic wearing a Fall 2011 coat by The Row over a black mini dress with a leather Peter Pan collar whilst leaving BBC Radio 1 yesterday afternoon.

The standout piece of her look were her Brian Atwood nude-and-black ‘Grace’ ankle-strap pumps with a ruffle piece going down the heel.

Rooney Mara had two amazing looks this week, but you went crowned her Givenchy Couture gown the best of the week.

It was a vast improvement from her Calvin Klein look from the 2011 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards.

I had a much tougher decision. I narrowed it down to three: Rooney in Givenchy, Taylor in Reem before finally going with Jennifer Lopez wearing a mustard coat from The Row and white Milly pants.

As I said in the original post, I would wear this head-to-toe look if money was no option.

She looked achingly hot, chic and sophisticated.

I love her when she’s on this type of form as I’ve never been a fan of those nude embellished jumpsuits she seems to love.

Jennifer Lopez was spotted arriving at the Civic Center in Pasadena, California yesterday as the cameras were rolling for day 2 of the American Idol Hollywood event week.

This will be the eleventh season of the show which will air on January 18, 2012 with Randy Jackson, Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez as returning judges along with host Ryan Seacrest.

Jennifer looked very chic wearing a gorgeous Salvatore Ferragamo Fall 2011 coat.

Her black and white houndstooth print cashmere coat was teamed with a white dress, shades and a black clutch.

On Tuesday Jennifer was spotted arriving at the Civic Center for the American Idol’s Hollywood Week auditions wearing a mustard coat from The Row’s Fall 2011 collection.

I adore this look. I would wear this top-to-toe look in a heartbeat.

Under her coat she wore a simple black top, white Milly pants with Charlotte Olympia ‘Dolly’ velvet platform pumps and a leopard clutch.

Despite not being a huge fan of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen’s style, I have to say I was very interested to hear the design duo talk about design icons, personal style and the perfect-fit tee that started it all.

Check out the video above.

Lea Michele also attended the Hogan by Karl Lagerfeld Spring 2012 presentation in Paris on Friday night.

The ‘Glee’ star is really trying to make it as a front row regular this Spring 2012 season, after attending Jason Wu and Alexander Wang’s shows in New York.

On this occasion she wore a black The Row Fall 2011 look.

The black maxi dress with sheer layers and lace totally overwhelms her.

Even though she played down the look with simple black peep-toes, the dress is so baggy that I don’t even think a belt would’ve saved this look.

Beauty-wise, she is gorgeous, which is a shame because everything else is so bad.
