Who Wore Suno Better…Gabrielle Union or Amanda Holden?

Who Wore Suno Better Gabrielle Union or Amanda Holden

Gabrielle Union and Amanda Holden wore the same Suno crinkle effect dress from the Resort 2015 collection less than 24 hours apart.

Gabrielle wore a lilac version with silver metallic Alejandro Ingelmo pumps for her guest appearance on ‘Late Night with Seth Meyers’, while Amanda opted for an olive green version styled with Burberry heels in a complementary hue while attending the Birmingham auditions for ‘Britain’s Got Talent’.

Both wore the dress well, so at this point I would revert to the shoes, which are equally on point. In this case I would have to say I prefer the lilac over the olive green, so Gabrielle wins for me.

Aubrey Plaza In Suno - 2015 Film Independent Spirit Awards

Aubrey Plaza was also at the 2015 Film Independent Spirit Awards, hosted at Santa Monica Beach in Santa Monica, California on Saturday (February 21).

Among the stars who opted for intrepid, splashy prints, she selected a Suno Pre-Fall 2015 mini-dress in a firework-floral pattern that was vibrant and eye-catching.

Letting the strength of the artsy frock stand on its own, she kept her styling to a minimum with black Casadei sandals and a loose updo.

Thandie Newton In Suno – ‘The Slap’ New York Premiere Party

Thandie Newton In Suno - 'The Slap' New York Premiere Party

It’s always a delight to see Thandie Newton on the red carpet, and last night saw her return for the ‘The Slap’ premiere party held at The New Museum on Monday (February 9) in New York City.

Digging back into her closet, she pulled out all the stops wearing a Suno floral-print dress from the Spring 2013 collection with a midriff cut-out front revealing just the right amount of skin.

I love this floral print. With its stop-and-stare capabilities, the print makes you say ooh, while Thandie’s playful approach has you grinning, like she is, from ear to ear.

Working a natural curly do, I love the additional pop of colour provided by the aquamarine earrings, plus I have to hold my hands up and say the white pumps worked perfectly here.

I wouldn’t change a thing. Would you?

You may remember that Lindsay Lohan wore this same dress on Letterman back in 2013.

Gabrielle Union In Suno – ‘Late Night with Seth Meyers’ & ‘Extra

Gabrielle Union In Suno - 'Late Night with Seth Meyers' & 'Extra

For the last two days, Gabrielle Union has been busy promoting the new series of her hit BET show ‘Being Mary Jane’, opting for two figure-hugging designs courtesy of Suno.

‘Late Night with Seth Meyers’: On Wednesday (February 4), her late-night appearance saw her wearing a Suno Resort 2015 dress in a feminine lilac shade featuring an open back and crinkle-effect skirt. The dress is doing wonders for her gorgeous figure, hugging her in all the right places, with her styling on point too with silver metallic Alejandro Ingelmo pumps and Meredith Marks jewels rounding out her look. You may remember that Amanda Holden wore this same dress in olive green yesterday.

‘Extra’: Even with the bright lights of Times Square in the backdrop, my eyes fall squarely on the actress once again, who brought a hint of spring to the ‘Extra’ studios on Thursday (February 5). I adore the ladylike appeal of her short-sleeve frock, especially when styled with those nude Sergio Rossi pumps and Kavant & Sharart jewels.

Both looks are winners in my eyes, but if I had to pick a favourite it would be the first Suno look, mostly because I’m lusting over her Alejandro Ingelmo pumps and the Diana Ross-esque curly diva mane.

Amanda Holden In Suno – Britain’s Got Talent Birmingham Auditions

Amanda Holden In Suno - Britain's Got Talent Birmingham Auditions

Amanda Holden attended the ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ auditions held at the Birmingham Hippodrome on Thursday (February 5) in Birmingham, England.

We’re used to seeing the judge in more tailored looks, including skirt suits from her current favourite designer Samuel Dougal, but on this occasion she opted for a dress from Suno’s Resort 2015 collection.

Her olive-hued fitted dress featuring a crinkle effect on the skirt comes with a peek of skin at the back via a sexy cut-out.

Styled with a pair of Burberry heels in a complementary green shade, the look was completed with a plump red lip to enhance the red stripe on her frock.

Do you like this change of direction, or do you prefer Amanda in suited looks?

Michelle Monaghan In Suno & Miu Miu – 2014 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Event & 28th American Cinematheque Award

Michelle Monaghan In Suno & Miu Miu - 2014 CFDA Vogue Fashion Fund Event & 28th American Cinematheque Award

Michelle Monaghan, lady of the moment, attended two events yesterday (October 21), starting with the 2014 CFDA Vogue Fund event before celebrating Matthew McConaughey’s American Cinematheque Award.

2014 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Event: For a daytime look, her Suno part-floral part-check print dress brought a graphic flair to the event, with silver sandals and a silver clutch accessorizing the look. While the dress is a bit too Jekyll and Hyde for my liking, she does look ever so graceful.

28th American Cinematheque Award honouring Matthew McConaughey: While I prefer this cream embellished Miu Miu dress to her Suno day dress, I would’ve loved to have seen her go glam at this event and wear a gown. Alongside the likes of Reese Witherspoon, Jessica Chastain and Kate Hudson’s bedazzling number, this doesn’t stand out. Christian Louboutin ‘Pina Spike’ sandals, a Lanvin clutch, plus a selection of jewels from Graziela Gems and EFFY Jewelry rounded out this effortless look.
