Michelle Trachtenberg In Rachel Zoe – Madonna’s ‘Fashion Evolution’ Pop-Up Exhibit

Michelle Trachtenberg In Rachel Zoe - Madonna's 'Fashion Evolution' Pop-Up Exhibit

Michelle Trachtenberg attended Madonna’s ‘Fashion Evolution’ Pop-Up Exhibit hosted by Material Girl at Macy’s Westfield Century City in Century City, California last Thursday.

The former ‘Gossip Girl’ actress wore a Rachel Zoe ‘Gemma’ jumpsuit in a rich royal-blue hue.

Her timeless belted piece with a crossover bodice, pleated waist and tapered leg was styled with gorgeous jewels, grey suede pumps and an intrusive oversized clutch.

When your clutch is bigger than your head, maybe you should consider downsizing.

Both the designer herself and Jaime King have been spotted wearing this same jumpsuit.

Elizabeth Banks In Rachel Zoe – Hollywood Reporter’s 21st Annual Women In Entertainment Breakfast

Elizabeth Banks arrived bright-eyed and bushy-tailed at the early-morning Hollywood Reporter “Power 100: Women in Entertainment” breakfast in Beverly Hills on Wednesday.

Banksy, as she’s affectionately referred to by friends, was particularly chic in a Rachel Zoe Pre-fall 2013 boat-neck black number and Prada Spring 2013 peep-toe platforms.

The dress’ leotard-like scoop back and bracelet sleeves, combined with the comedian’s graceful posture, channeled Degas ballerina, while her swept-back bouffant and irreverent daisy-print-decorated feet were reminiscent of a martini-sipping hostess straight out of Mad Men.

Kohl-rimmed eyes made Elizabeth’s baby blues pop, and I wouldn’t mind overhearing which night cream she uses to keep her complexion so flawlessly line-free.

Carly Rae Jepsen In Rachel Zoe – 2012 Billboard Women in Music Luncheon

Carly Rae Jepsen zipped into a sparkly blue Rachel Zoe frock for Billboard’s Women in Music Luncheon on Friday.

The playful design from the stylist-turned reality star-turned designer’s Resort 2013 collection looked pitch-perfect on Carly, though I can’t say the same about her oversize DVF clutch and matte-mauve lipstick.

For a rock’n’roll industry event such as this, Carly could’ve gone edgier by subbing in sleeker accessories: a leather cuff in lieu of that forgettable bracelet, a pair of noirish single-sole Alexander Wang slingbacks over those Brian Atwood covered-platform clunkers, and topped it off with her dark tresses pulled back into a low ponytail.

How would you have reaccessorized Carly’s look?

January Jones In Rachel Zoe – CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Event

January Jones joined a host of celebrities who attended the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Event held at the Chateau Marmont in LA, California, yesterday evening.

The ‘Mad Men’ actress wore a Rachel Zoe Resort 2013 jumpsuit.

Her chic blue printed look with a black collar, placket and cuffs was styled with a chain-accented leather belt from the Rachel Zoe Spring 2013 collection.

I love how comfortable this take on the PJ trend looks.

Black pumps and shades provided the finishing touches.

Who’s That Girl? – Lizzy Caplan

Lizzy Caplan is an American actress best known for her TV roles in the CBS show ‘The Class’ and HBO’s ‘True Blood’ (2008), plus she’s starred in movies such as ‘Mean Girls’ (2004) and ‘Cloverfield’ (2008).

The 30-year-old actress has suddenly come back on our radar with a shorter hairstyle, attending two premieres and a photocall within the last five days.

She started her red-carpet comeback at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre last Thursday at ‘The Campaign’ premiere wearing an on-trend white crop top and a Rachel Zoe A-line ‘Drew’ skirt from the designer’s Resort 2013 collection.

A blue satin Kotur clutch, matching blue nail polish, accessorized her look along with Dolce & Gabbana wedges.

Yesterday she attended the ‘Bachelorette’ photocall during the 65th Locarno Film Festival in Switzerland.

Whilst I applaud the artistic nature of her Lisa Ho tropical-print mini dress, I find her yellow-and-nude BCBG ‘Vera’ studded raffia sandals a bit of an eyesore.

By nightfall she was on the red carpet again, this time for the movie’s premiere, dressed in a signature Issa London dress.

Her emerald-green gathered dress was styled with copper Brian Atwood ‘Amelye’ sandals and a matching clutch.

Best Dressed Of The Week – Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge In Jenny Packham & Karolina Kurkova In Rachel Zoe

On the last hour of the day, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge won your votes for best dressed this week.

Wearing a jade-green Jenny Packham gown, Catherine did what some of us thought impossible: she wowed us with a braided bun to boot.

A historic fashion moment indeed.

As much as I was seduced by the Duchess, I think it would have been a travesty of monumental portions had Karolina Kurkova not been recognized for “shutting down” the Met Gala this week.

The event was a total snooze without her, let’s face it.

Her Rachel Zoe creation is what BDOTY lists were made for.

Karolina Kurkova In Rachel Zoe – 2012 Met Gala

Karolina Kurkova was a certified knock out on the red carpet at the 2012 Met Gala held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City this evening.

The supermodel attended the event with Rachel Zoe, who designed this breathtaking creation.

Her custom long sleeve rose gold sequinned gown with open back and train has me borrowing Rachel’s famous catch phrase…”I DIE”, because I think I just did.

This is amazing. Supermodel amazing, Iman amazing, and no one does amazing quite like Iman, so this is high praise, indeed.

Karolina teamed her spectacular gown with a matching turban and a gold clutch.

This look just leap-frogged Elizabeth Banks for my best dressed of the night so far.
