Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Alesha Dixon attended the British Academy Children’s Awards held at the London Hilton on Sunday evening dressed in a fruity frock.

The coral dress designed by Philip Armstrong is a custom look from the two dresses which feature in his Resort 2013 collection.

Her dress takes the cut-out in the neckline from one dress and the shape and soft pleated skirt of the other, with a sprinkling of mirrored stones and gold embellishments to create this standout piece.

Gold Giuseppe Zanotti sandals, kohl-rimmed eyes, pink lips and a wavy bob completed her look.

It was WAGs night out in Manchester yesterday, as Philip Armstrong hosted a fashion show at Harvey Nichols’ department store with Coleen Rooney in attendance.

Coleen opted to wear a pink fit-and-flare Philip Armstrong dress with padded shoulders which is not to dissimilar from the previous look.

Whilst the dress has some cute elements, you wouldn’t wear this dress past the age of five for a themed costume party.

What was the designer thinking when incorporating those nude panels? Which don’t look so nude against Coleen’s tangoed tan.

Giuseppe Zanotti beige mesh peep-toe platforms and a gold YSL clutch completed her pukey pink look.

More WAG watch as Coleen Rooney was out again today at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool, England with her WAG-a-licious posse for the John Smith’s Grand National Ladies’ Day.

Coleen showed her support for local Liverpool designer Philip Armstrong by looking uber cute wearing one of his dresses.

Last month she tweeted how much she loved this sleeveless dress has a lace top with a structural flares skirt.

She accessorized with Christian Louboutin peep-toes and a black fold-over clutch.

A top knot and diamond-studded earrings completed the look.

This is quite a refined look for the WAG don’t you agree?

Katy Perry and her husband Russell Brand were inseparable tonight at the “Arthur” London Premiere which was held at the Cineworld 02 Arena.

She dazzled in a very predictable Katy Perry dress – nude, figure-hugging and dazzling with embellishments.

Her Philip Armstrong Fall 2011 asymmetrical nude gown was teamed with matching Brian Atwood pumps – another favourite of Katy’s.

I’m really glad she let the dress do all the talking. Sometimes I find her antics a tad distracting to concentrate on what she’s wearing.

Whilst this gown might not be to everyone’s tastes, I think she pull this look perfectly.

You may remember Dannii Minogue wore London-based designer Philip Armstrong on Week 5 of the X Factor.

Dannii Minogue was a perfect vision of loveliness on Saturday night when she stepped on the X Factor stage.

She wore a nude Philip Armstrong Spring 2010 metallic dress which had a bow neckline.

This is the type of structured interesting non-predictable dress I want to see more of from Dannii.

The mother of one looked sophisticated and effortlessly elegant.

This is the second time since the show started that I really loved – instead of just liked – her look.

Stephen Webster and Annoushka jewels, plus Brian Atwood nude heels completed her look.

She was easily my favourite this week.
