Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Sophia Bush took to the red carpet for the 26th Annual Genesis Awards on Saturday in Beverly Hills, California.

The actress wore a Halston Heritage hot-pink and black printed maxi dress with a rise-and-fall hemline.

A black patent belt, black Louboutins, bejewelled bracelets and a gold Christian Louboutin bow-accented clutch accessorized her look.

Whilst I love the dress, I don’t like any of the accessories.

Pumps feel too conservative for such a free-flowing dress, even if they are studded ‘Pigalles’.

The clutch doesn’t work with any element of her look and feels like a last-minute choice. Finally, the belt would’ve been better had it been solid without the gold hardware.

It’s rare that I have a ‘meh’ for Sophia Bush as she’s usually impeccable.

Dakota Fanning stepped out at the 2012 GLAAD Media Awards, which were held on Saturday night in New York City.

The young star wore a vintage Halston cream wrap v-neck halter dress with gold beaded embroidery.

Dakota teamed her stylish dress with Fred Leighton jewels, a Ferragamo gold box clutch and Manolo Blahnik metallic-gold criss-cross sandals.

Her signature simple, straight hairstyle and natural looking makeup completed the look.

Whilst her dress was refreshing and mature, the hair and makeup are all too familiar.

I would love her to shake things up just once.

Elizabeth Banks wasn’t the only star to attend The Restoration Hardware Spring 2012 launch party last night.

Malin Akerman: The blonde actress is having quite a busy week. On this occasion she wore a Halston Heritage Fall 2012 dress. Her red off-the-shoulder dress was teamed with nude pumps (the new black pumps) and a pink croc clutch. Red lippie and a wavy updo completed her look.

Abbie Cornish: The Australian actress opted for a more conservative look wearing a teal Tory Burch lace dress. Brown satin peep-toes, a gold clutch, a chic updo and smoky eyes completed her look.

Milla Jovovich: Even with the colourful accessories, I have to say that Milla can do better than this.

Nicole Richie unveiled her ‘House of Harlow 1960′ holiday pop-up shop on Saturday night at Fred Segal in West Hollywood, California.

Nicole wore a Halston Spring 2011 two-tone sequined dress, paired with a red House of Harlow clutch.

When this dressed-up boho dress first hit the runway, our immediate thoughts were “Nicole Richie or Kate Hudson”, and Nicole did not let our designer daydreams down.

The cut and style is a perfect match for Nicole.

House of Harlow 1960 statement jewelry completed her look.

Halle Berry was also honored at the 2011 FiFi Awards in New York City tonight.

She took home the ‘Celebrity Fragrance of the Year Award’ for her portfolio of Coty-backed scents which includes ‘Halle by Halle Berry’, ‘Halle Pure Orchid’ and her newest scent ‘Reveal’.

The actress revealed plenty on the red carpet wearing a Halston cut-out dress from the Spring 2011 collection.

Halle never met a LBD she didn’t like.

On this occasion her dress has super sexy cut-outs.

Many of us wouldn’t dare wear this dress, but then most of us don’t have her slammin’ body unfortunately.

Black isn’t boring on this occasion, especially when Halle has made the cut-out which is accented with gold tone hardware even wider than it appeared on the model.

Gold earrings, a black clutch and black strappy Christian Louboutin ‘Anna’ sandals completed her look.
