Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Britney Spears attended her first round of auditions as judge for ‘The X Factor’ Season 2 in Austin, Texas, yesterday afternoon.

She sported a neon-pink Brian Lichtenberg dress.

Her bright textured short-sleeve dress with a sheer panel is typical Britney. I hope before the finale she will have shaken herself out of the style rut and be introduced to another style of dress.

Every time it’s the same thing. Figure-hugging, short, sans bra.

We have a long way to go, so could someone please give her some assistance?

As if things couldn’t get worse, she teamed her pink dress with black suede YSL Tribtoo pumps.

Wavy curls, dark eye makeup and a pink lip shade completed the look.

This week both Paris Hilton and Stephanie Pratt have been out and about promoting themselves wearing very similar dresses.

The dresses are one-sleeved and I’ve noticed that this is very much becoming a trend amongst the reality TV starlets.

Kim Kardashian also favours the one-sleeve look.

Paris wore a Lipsy VIP asymmetric animal sequin dress when she appeared on “The Late Show With David Letterman” yesterday.

Whilst earlier this week Stephanie jumps on the Brian Litchenberg wagon very late wearing the same one-sleeved dress which Katie Cassidy and Paris Hilton have previously worn.

Are we liking this look or are we over this look?

Kim Kardashian was at the Guys and Dolls nightclub in West Hollywood last night for the launch of The Sugar Factory’s Couture Pops.

The reality TV star was wearing a dress which has a very distinctive one-padded-shoulder style.

This dress was designed by Brian Lichtenberg.

His Fall 2009 collection consisted of many futuristic pieces like this, and it appears Kim is in love with his work.

I do love her velvet geometric print glitter dress, but not with those tights and YSL ‘Easy’ ankle boots.

Her obsession started back in October when she wore a printed asymmetrical dress when dining out in LA.

She then casually wore a striped Brian Lichtenberg “Grecian” dress with navy leggings whilst out shopping.

She celebrated her 26th birthday party wearing the Brian Lichtenberg silver hooded dress which is so very popular with celebs.

And most recently she wore my favourite – the Brian Lichtenberg red velvet leopard print dress.

What’s also interesting with most of these looks is that she wears the same YSL ankle boots.

How Lindsay Lohan still gets invited to pretentious events is beyond me.

The some times actress/failed fashion designer still doesn’t feel to need to wear her panned Emanuel Ungaro Spring 2010 collection.

Instead she opted for this silver Brian Lichtenberg Fall 2009 shoulder padded metallic dress complete with a hood, when she arrived at the Warner Bros. and InStyle Golden Globe After Party last night.

If you’re thinking you’ve seen this dress before, that because Kim Kardashian, Ciara, Eva Pigford and Demi Lovato have all worn it before.

Why to stay ahead of fashion Lindsay.

Fendi shoes and Jason of Beverly Hills jewels complete the look.

This Brian Lichtenberg Fall 2009 shoulder padded dress complete with hood, proves itself to be a perfect party-piece.

Contesting for the WWIB crown here we have three strong contenders.

Ciara arrived at her album launch party at the “M2 Ultra Lounge” in New York City with pulled back hair to show off her amazing bone structure and heighten the impact of those exaggerated shoulders.

Kim Kardashian choosing the sparkly number when she hit the red carpet at TAO in Las Vegas to celebrate her 29th birthday party with her sister.

She copied her BFF Ciara, by adding volume to her hair and pulling it back into a sleek ponytail.

America’s Next Top Model winner Eva Pigford…or Eva ‘Marcille’…gave a Grace-Jones style slant to the look by wearing the hood to a Halloween party.

Both Eva and Kim opted for a seasonal shoe-boot to give a punky edge to their glamour.

Although I’m not too sure about the crazy make-up, Eva wins this WWIB for me. She looks full of fun and confidence and the boots are a stylish touch.

Demi Lovato also wears this same dress at several points in her video for her new single “Remember December”.

Conde Nast Traveler Readers Choice Awards, New York

Mary Louise Parker has been getting in touch with her flirty side lately, as she’s been wearing a lot of shorter cocktail dresses.

On this occasion she picked a Marc Jacobs Resort 2010 black and white floral dress which is modified from the runway version.

Parker’s dress is narrower on the skirt and is off-the-shoulder instead of one-shouldered.

I really love this look.  It’s so relaxed and fun as you would expect from any Marc Jacobs piece.

Kim Kardashian Celebrates Her 29th Birthday At TAO, Las Vegas

Some of you have accused Kim Kardashian of ‘brand hopping’ i.e. the second a label is hot, Kim’s wearing it.

We’ve seen her do with with Herve Leger, Balmain, Altuzarra and now Brian Lichtenberg.

I personally don’t really have a problem with this because she appears to be doing this earlier on, and not at the point when Heidi Montag has discovered the brand.

At her 26th birthday party this weekendshe was the golden girl glowing wearing a Brian Litchenberg Fall 2009 shouldered padded hooded mini dress, paired with black ankle boots.

It appears my prays for the end of the ankle boots trend are yet to be answered.

BFF Ciara was there, looking sexy in a Rock & Republic spiked leather jacket over a velvet playsuit.

Without even trying Ciara out does her host.

This girl is to gorgeous for words.

4th Annual Black Girls Rock! Awards, New York

Naomi Campbell looked radiant wearing a sexy Alexander Wang one-shouldered bandage dress, which she paired with a furry cape.

The cape may seem a bit OTT, but if anyone can make it work it’s Miss Naomi.

“Avatar” Stage Greeting, Japan

Zoe Saldana looked very elegant wearing a black Giambattista Valli strapless bustier dress, with ruffled detail on her hip.

Everything is perfect here from her hair to her jewels to her dress.

Amy Adams wore the gown version of this dress to the SAG Awards earlier this year.

The First Annual Noble Humanitarian Awards, LA

Nicole Richie looks heavenly wearing cream chiffon Jasmine Di Milo gown.

Motherhood clearly agrees with her, she’s glowing.

Teri Hatcher opted for a SuperDupa white Hugo Boss suit with gold peep-toes.

I would be petrified to wearing anything that pristine.

Katie Cassidy wearing this shimmering Brian Lichtenberg Fall 2009 one-sleeved navy dress with a padded shoulder to the “Melrose Place” Premiere Party in LA this summer, was the moment she put herself on my radar and I have been in love with everything she has worn ever since.

She teamed her dress with Bebe Desiree leather caged sandals and a Swarovski clutch to completed her stunning look.

Paris Hilton is known for wearing mini dresses. It’s very much her trademark red carpet look, as she has amazing legs and loves to show them off.

This week at the “2009 Fox Reality Channel Really Awards” she wore the same Brian Lichtenberg dress with Versace heels, but sadly without the same wow factor.

Katie wins for me.
