BCBG Max Azria Spring 2012

My New York Fashion Week kicked off this morning with BCBG Max Azria’s Spring 2012 show.

The designer presented a fresh, energetic collection of fluid silhouettes and weightless fabrics.

Silk crepe dresses effortlessly fluttered down the runway with asymmetrical cuts, halter-necks, drop-waists, thigh-high splits, pleats and many looks had cold-shoulders.

We also saw jumpsuits, pants and blouses.

I loved the sporty feel to this collection. This was most evident via the silk crepe hoodies, bra-like straps, and contrasting colours.

This collection is for those with an active lifestyle who like their sporty elements with a touch of glamour.

Key accessories included wooden platform tribal print sandals plus envelope clutches with an urban edge.

Favourites: Multi-silk chiffon pleated dress and multi-silk chiffon blouse with lemongrass silk georgette pants

Demi Lovato In BCBG Max Azria – 2011 Teen Choice Awards

Most Summery Award
Demi Lovato attended the 2011 Teen Choice Awards at the Gibson Amphitheatre in LA last night.

She was glowing wearing this summery BCBG Max Azria chiffon and lace dress.

Her sunshine yellow sleeveless dress features lace detailing and is layered over contrast lilac fabric.

The back of her dress drapes down into a longer asymmetrical hemline.

Demi accessorized with suede mustard-hued Christian Louboutin peep-toes, rows of gold and diamond bracelets, several cocktail rings and diamond earrings.

I love Demi’s bright look and think her hair and makeup look gorgeous.

We aren’t usually impressed with Demi on the red carpet, but she does on this occasion.

Jenna Ushkowitz In BCBG Max Azria – FOX All-Star Party 2011

Jenna Ushkowitz looked beautiful at the FOX All-Star Party which was held at the Gladstones in Pacific Palisades, California on Friday.

The ‘Glee’ actress opted to wear a vibrant electric blue BCBG Max Azria long sleeved dress.

Her gorgeous mini dress with studded details on the sleeves was complemented with blue eye-shadow and blue suede Rene Caovilla peep-toes with a silver glitter platform.

Jenna curls the ends of the ombre hair and added a Judith Leiber clutch and Bavna jewels to complete her look.

On this rare occasion I love this look from head-to-toe.

Models @ The 2011 CFDA Fashion Awards

Here’s a look at my favourite models who graced the red carpet at the 2011 CFDA Fashion Awards last night.

They just made picking a Top 10 for this event almost impossible.

Alessandra Ambrosio: Prabal Gurung walked the red carpet very proudly with his supermodel date for the night. Alessandra was unbelievably breath-taking in her Prabal Gurung Fall 2011 gown. She blew everyone out of the water at this event as she worked every seam in this amazing gown.

Karlie Kloss: Jason Wu also dressed his favourite model in red. Karlie’s jewels were more subtle and she added a black clutch and a black belt to her sophisticated look.

Fergie In BCBG Max Azria Atelier – 2011 FiFi Awards

Fergie arrived at the 2011 FiFi Awards which was held at the Lincoln Center in New York City tonight.

The singer was there to receive the ‘New Fragrance Celebrity of the Year’ Award, after her perfume ‘Outspoken’, marked the single largest fragrance launch in Avon’s history.

After opting for an edgy sexy looks at the 2011 Billboard Awards and Dancing With The Stars, Fergie did a complete 180 wearing this beautiful BCBG Max Azria Atelier gown.

The canary yellow gown was accented with crystal embellishments, and accessorized with a marine blue Judith Leiber ‘Large Airstream’ minaudière which provided a beautiful extra pop of colour.

I’m more of a fan of Fergie’s sexy/edgy style, but I really appreciate this more refine look with neutral make-up.
