Coco Rocha In Anthony Capon and Aurelio Costarella - Oaks Day

Coco Rocha is still making the fashion-statement rounds in Melbourne, Australia, and her appearance at Oaks Day at Flemington Racecourse today proved even more dramatic than her first track-side look from earlier in the week.

Styled in not one, but two dresses, the model wore a gold rose-adorned Anthony Capon creation over a white Aurelio Costarella cocktail dress. Due to the gold dress’s high-neck collar, architectural shoulders, and exaggerated tutu-like skirt, there was no problem differentiating the layers; in fact, it merely gave Coco’s ensemble added dimension.

Not to be upstaged, her matching rose-adorned Anthony Capon hat continued the theme of standout details, with simple white pumps and wine-coloured lips completing the ensemble.

Dita Von Teese In Aurelio Costarella - Melbourne Cup Day

Dita von Teese joined Coco Rocha and Kate Waterhouse in Australia on Tuesday for Melbourne Cup Day.

The burlesque star is no stranger to a dramatic fashion statement, and this orchid-adorned headpiece from her friend, master UK milliner Philip Treacy, certainly gave her a leg up on the head-turning front.

To keep on with the summery aesthetic, Dita wore a crisp, form-fitted white jacket (also detailed with orchids at the shoulder) and a knee-length pencil skirt set, both by Australian designer Aurelio Costarella. Her matching purple orchid-hued lace corset peeked through, offering the perfect colour complement to the outfit’s floral theme.

Best Mini Award
Keri Hilson was one of my favourites at the 2011 Critics’ Choice Awards.

She wore cute yet sexy mini by Australian designer, Aurelio Costarella.

The corseted dress with a sheer yoke, embellished bustier and bell-shaped skirt is just the type of youthful sexy dress I would expect someone like Keri to rock on the red carpet.

Her look was styled with an Isharya gold mirrored polki ring and gold lace accented heels.

I’m sensing whoever made these took inspiration from Alexander McQueen, but they didn’t quite have the finesse to make them as well as they ones designed by McQueen.

Update: These heels were custom-made by Alana Hale.

Dannii Minogue made yet another breath-taking entrance onto the X Factor stage on Saturday night.

The Australian judge was radiant wearing a nude Spring 2010 dress by Australian designer Aurelio Costarella.

You may remember that Dannii wore Aurelio Costarella twice during last years X Factor.

Every week I say this is my favourite look from Dannii and I have to say it again because she is constantly outdoing herself.

The colour of her dress is divine, I love the lace panels on the sides which gives the looks a narrow waist and I love the Carrie-esqe corsage on the shoulder.

As always she accessorizes perfectly wearing Annoushka earrings, a Talisman Gallery and gold Fendi heels.

I’ve said it before and I’m sure I’ll say it again; she glows in designs from her motherland. Every week she’s like a breath of fresh air.

I admire Dannii Minogue for continuing to support Australian designers.

On Saturday nights X Factor the judge wore an orange Aurelio Costarella Spring 2010 one-sleeved orange gown paired with Kara Ross jewels.

The colour is gorgeous on Dannii, but I felt there was just too much material, especially around the waist.

The model pulls off this look as she’s taller.

On Sunday night she opted for something short and dazzling from the same designer.

I much preferred this silver Aurelio Costarella Spring 2010 embellished mini dress with slash detail and cold shoulder as it suits her style, plus it complements her figure and shows off her toned legs.

The silver theme continued with silver peep-toes and hooped earrings.
