Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Ivanka Trump attended the 2012 Good Awards which was held in New York City last night.

Whilst she has the right to wear whatever she wants, she is not an Alexander Wang girl.

It’s admirable that the uptown girl wanted to try a downtown look, but this tri-colour Alexander Wang knotted draped jersey dress is doing nothing for her.

The draped panels are working against her cutting her in all the wrong places.

To make matters worse the grey pointy pumps are making her feet look enormous.

On the plus side, she’s a stunner from the neck up.

Rihanna was spotted leaving the Soirage hotel in Miami, Florida on New Year’s Eve working a luxe sporty look.

She paired a white sleeveless top with Alexander Wang Starter colour-block shorts from the Resort 2012 collection.

Her accessories included shades and perfectly colour co-ordinated Alexander Wang ‘Chloe’ colour-block sandals.

Aside from the shoes, the other signs that Rihanna wasn’t headed to the gym were her gold jewelry, red lips and nails.

I love how comfortable and easy this look is.

Zoe Kravitz was in typical rock chick/downtown New Yorker mode whilst attending the 2011 CFDA Vogue/Fashion Fund Awards at the Skylight SoHo in New York City last night.

The actress, who’s BFFs with designer Alexander Wang, is the first to wear a look from the designer’s Spring 2012 collection on the red carpet.

Her lush mahogany leather mini dress with a perforated pattern was complement with a matching lip colour.

I’m not a fan of pointy pumps for this very reason: they can often make your feet look much bigger than they really are, which is very much the case for the petite actress.

The shoes, as well as the lack of Frizz-Ease serum, pull down this look for me.

Zoe accessorized with a gold cuff, gold rings and a black wristlet.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley looked chic whilst running errands in LA yesterday.

The model/actress donned an Isabel Marant fur vest despite the hot temperatures.

The rest of her off-duty style included a cool white T by Alexander Wang t-shirt and light-wash denim jeans.

An Alexander Wang Emile tote and aviator shades were added to her achingly hip look.

How does one look so cool when wearing such a hot vest?

Gwyneth Paltrow attended the 3rd Annual Bent On Learning Benefit at the Stephan Weiss Studio in New York City yesterday.

The blonde actress wore an Alexander Wang bi-colour draped dress which ticks all of Gwynie’s boxes.

Short, sassy, edgy and fun.

Gwynie is the one star (excluding Leighton Meester) who never lets us down in the shoe department.

She can always be relied upon to give us something interesting and different.

Case in point; these black sandals with a python platform and copper straps are divine.

Zoe Kravitz also attended the “X-Men: First Class” New York Premiere last night.

The actress opted for an Alexander Wang silver spaghetti strap velvet gown which has a Donna Karan vibe to it.

Dramatic eye makeup, nude lips and an armlet completed her look.

I love how cool this girl is. Nothing appears to phase her.

Like Nicole Richie she will always be a hippie girl at heart, but she can pull off uncharacteristic looks like this.

The stains on her dress are a tad unfortunate.
