Caroline Sieber In Alessandra Rich – Soiree Chopard ‘Mystery Party’

Caroline Sieber joined Erin Wasson on the red carpet last night for the Soiree Chopard ‘Mystery Party’ during Cannes Film Festival.

The stylist wore an Alessandra Rich Spring 2012 dress.

Her blue micro paillette column dress features an open back with long polka dot ribbons.

This is a cute, unexpected twist to a seductive evening look.

A black satin clutch, matching pumps and Chopard jewels provided the finishing touches.

It’s a shame that the stylist wasn’t more creative with her accessories.

Who Wore Alessandra Rich Better? Li Bingbing or Samantha Cameron

Li Bingbing was actually the first to wear this Alessandra Rich blue lace ¾-length-sleeve belted dress, which is decorated with Swarovski crystals, from the Spring 2012 collection.

The Asian beauty wore the dress to Elton John’s AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party back in February.

She teamed her gown with Cindy Chao jewels and a Lana Marks clutch.

A slick updo and pretty pink lip colour completed her look.

Samantha Cameron wore the same gown the following month, but hers had a navy lining.

The PM’s wife wore her gown with a black leather belt, plus kept the black pussy bow that the gown was presented with.

Both women look amazing.

Whilst I admire Li Bingbing for making the look her own, I have to go with Sam Cam on this one.

I like the dress with a belt, plus I like the prim nature of the look with the pussy bow.

Zhang Ziyi In Alessandra Rich – 2nd Beijing Film Festival Opening Ceremony

Zhang Ziyi continued to step out of her comfort zone at the 2nd Beijing International Film Festival opening ceremony, held at the China National Convention Center this evening.

The Asian actress was always relied upon to fulfil the ‘princess’ gown quota on the red carpet, but her new direction is a more modern, less frou-frou approach.

On this occasion she donned an Alessandra Rich Spring 2012 dress.

Her pretty white Chantilly lace shirt dress was worn without the polka-dot tie and blue belt; instead Zhang Ziyi opted for a white belt with gold hardware.

A gold shoulder bag, red lips and wavy side-swept locks completed her look.

Whilst I love this dress and her new style, I wish she brought out the princess gown just this once.

I think this type of occasion always needs a bit of frou frou.

Carol Vorderman In Alessandra Rich – The TRIC Awards 2012

Carol Vorderman looked sensational when she attended the TRIC Awards 2012 in London recently.

The TV presenter, who continues to defy her 51 years, wore an Alessandra Rich Spring 2012 dress.

Her slinky Chantilly lace red long-sleeve column dress was teamed with the same black belt worn by the model, nude patent Louboutins and a gold cuff.

It’s shocking that people still mock her for wearing fashionable clothes, like there is an age limit.

Stunning as always.

Samantha Cameron In Alessandra Rich & Michelle Obama In Marchesa – White House State Dinner

Samantha Cameron and Michelle Obama were both impeccably dressed as they stood alongside their powerful husbands for the official photo last night at the White House state dinner in Washington, DC.

The Prime Minister’s wife wore a dress by London-based Italian designer Alessandra Rich.

Sam’s gorgeous blue lace ¾-length-sleeve belted dress from the Spring 2012 collection was paired with black heels from Next.

The First Lady opted for a gown by British-born, American-based designer Georgina Chapman, by donning Marchesa.

Michelle’s off-the-shoulder silk gazar draped column teal gown was teamed with a stunning Tom Binns statement necklace.

This portrait neckline with a statement necklace is a familiar look for Mrs O, as she sported a similar look back in May last year for the Royal dinner.

I think they both look outstanding. I love the modern electric-blue gown on Sam and Mrs O looks so effortless, classic and regal.

On this occasion I couldn’t pick a favourite.

Can you?
