Vogue Paris 95th Anniversary Party

Vogue Paris 95th Anniversary Party

A crush of chic beauties and models of the moment made for quite the spectacular showing at the Vogue Paris 95th Anniversary Party on Friday (October 3) in Paris, France.

Giovanna Battaglia: Everything was coming up roses, in rather dramatic fashion, for Giovanna who left no petal unturned in this Alexander McQueen Fall 2015 red rose organza and lace ruffle dress worn with a lace bra and black lace embroidered boots. I kind of wish that lace collar piece was missing in action.

Kendall Jenner
: The model went the sophisticatedly chic route in an Ulyana Sergeenko Fall 2015 Couture black velvet bustier gown constructed with a touch of youthful charm in the large collection of ruffle roses that dotted the hem of the dress. The finish of a ruby lip brought even more va-voom spirit.

Zoe Kravitz: Adding more rose-laced, flower-power to the proceedings, she rocked the Balenciaga Spring 2016 dress that she modeled during the label’s runway show paired with Balenciaga matching mules and complementary jewels. This is a more delicate side to Zoe’s style, but the full-on sheer story and high-waisted briefs has me fatigued on this occasion.

‘Dope’ Cannes Film Festival Photocall

'Dope' Cannes Film Festival Photocall
The ‘Dope’ photocall brought the stars beach side for a sunny rendezvous on Friday (May 22) as part of the 68th annual Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, France.

Chanel Iman: The model wore a white Zimmerman Fall 2015 dress that flaunted Cannes-worthy sizzle and breezy flair all into one package.

Pharrell Williams
: Putting a kitschy zip in his step, he took to the beach in a colourful printed Adidas shirt, a message tee, and cropped white pants, all accessorized by a black belt, green beret, and woven bracelets. On some men, such an eclectic ensemble would just look ridiculous, but Pharrell pulls it off with his signature cool flair.

Zoe Kravitz: Also in a white frock, the actress was casually chic in the sand, although sweeping those locks up off her face would have lightened the look even more.

Zoe Kravitz In Vionnet – 2015 amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala

Zoe Kravitz In Vionnet - 2015 amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala

Zoe Kravitz attended amfAR’s 22nd Cinema Against AIDS Gala at Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc on Thursday (May 21) in Cap d’Antibes, France.

The ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ star has gone from favouring black to all white.

Her last look hailed from the Valentino Sala Bianca Haute Couture collection, whereas this ethereal look came courtesy of Vionnet.

The gown has some subtle, interesting elements to it, but sadly they are covered by her long braids so the eye goes straight to her red lip.

Could Zoe have spiced this look up a bit, or do you like this less-is-more approach?

Zoe Kravitz In Valentino Sala Bianca Haute Couture - 'Mad Max Fury Road' Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Continuing to take a softer approach to red carpet dressing, Zoe Kravitz attended the ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ premiere during 2015 Cannes Film Festival this evening (May 14) in Cannes, France.

Known for her love of head-to-toe black, the New Yorker went in the opposite direction, donning an ethereal cloud-like gown from Valentino’s Sala Bianca 945 Haute Couture collection.

It wasn’t all sweetness and light, as the gown, which puts forth quite a feminine statement, does posses a deep plunge and sensual cutouts.

Simply styled with a gold Valentino clutch, Zoe was most definitely one of the belles of the ball.

Christian Dior Cruise 2016 Front Row

Christian Dior Cruise 2016 Front Row

The Christian Dior Cruise 2016 was held on Monday (May 11) at ‘Palais Bulle – Bubble Palace,’ which overlooks the water in the French Riviera, France. A group of Dior-donning darlings were in attendance to take in the latest collection from designer Raf Simons.

Marion Cotillard: The face of Lady Dior wore a Dior Haute Couture printed black and white wool coat, accessorized with fun Dior platform shoes, a ‘Diorama’ blue handbag, and Dior sunglasses. While the structured coat itself was a more sophisticated and demure piece, the styling added a sassy spirit especially given the leggy silhouette, her messy pompadour updo, and coral-pink lip. I do like the modern direction in which she was going, even if the execution wasn’t perfect at every angle.

Dakota Fanning
: Dressed in a Dior Fall 2015 grey silk leather satin dress with Dior black pumps, the starlet stepped out in a girly, feminine look that had a distinctly youthful party flair.

Zoe Kravitz In Valentino – ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ LA Premiere

Zoe Kravitz was also sporting a nose-ring for the premiere of ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ at TCL Chinese Theatre on Thursday (May 7) in Hollywood, California.

It’s not often we see the actress in a gown, or wearing a look not created by Alexander Wang, but on this occasion she wore Valentino Fall 2015 black and gold sheer creation incorporating a bit of grunge, rock and glam.

With those key elements in place the styling was kept simple with a gold clutch and selection of jewels.

I love the additional pop of gold shimmering lip colour.

Zoë Kravitz In Alexander Wang – 2015 Met Gala

Zoë Kravitz was also at the ‘China: Through the Looking Glass’ 2015 Met Gala red carpet hosted at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Monday (May 4).

Going the route of a glam Chinese warrior, the actress stunned in an Alexander Wang Fall 2015 sheer gown that served up plenty of attitude.

I actually love the modification of the runway design into a full gown to create a slinky, liquid chainmail effect.

Keeping her accessories to a minimum, she simply piled on the rings to go with that nose ring thus completing her signature edgy styling.
