Sonam Kapoor In Delpozo – NGO Positive Planet Dinner

Sonam Kapoor attended the NGO Positive Planet Dinner during the Cannes Film Festival on Tuesday (May 15).

It might not have been a big premiere, but the Indian actress still embraced whimsical volume in a Delpozo Spring 2018 look. The mixture of mint with fiery red plus the combination of fabrics and different patterns will hopefully please those who were hoping she’d try something different.

Coordinated accessories presented a harmonious, glamorous finish.

Sonam Kapoor In Vera Wang Bridal – ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Sonam Kapoor was back on the red carpet for the Cannes Film Festival premiere of ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ this evening (May 15).

If you are expecting me to swoon over this Vera Wang Bridal 2019 gown, I feel like I already did…three days ago…when Sofia Boutella wore a similar dual-colour look from the same collection.

They are by no means the same dress, but the sentiment is the same.

But familiarity isn’t the biggest problem here, it’s the colour.

The nude hue is pretty yet feels so bland at the same time. Had the yellow been the more prominent colour of this story, I would be left breathless.

Hopefully Sonam will return to this and this kinda form for Cannes 2019.

Sonam Kapoor In Ralph & Russo Haute Couture – ‘Blackkklansman’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Newlywed Sonam Kapoor made her first appearance at Cannes Film Festival this year for tonight’s (May 14) premiere of ‘Blackkklansman’.

Following Deepika Padukone and Aishwarya Rai, the Indian actress is the first one to go traditional this year, wearing a two piece lehenga created by Ralph & Russo.

As beautiful as this look is, I’m struggling to get excited about it.

Mostly because this colour, with this embellishments has been done to death, so in the second week I’m looking for something that’s gonna capture my imagination – see Ava DuVernay and Cate Blanchett. Not more of the same like Deepika Padukone and Araya A. Hargate.

Sonam Kapoor In Hyun Mi Nielsen – HT Most Stylish Awards 2018

The HT Most Stylish Awards annual ceremony took place at Mumbai’s Yash Raj Studios on Wednesday (January 24), with one Bollywood’s most stylist stars, Sonam Kapoor.

As we all know, Sonam likes to experiment with fashion; it’s trait that sets her apart from most stars in Mumbai and has helped solidify her as a fashion icon.

I have a feeling some will find it hard to warm to this Hyun Mi Nielsen Fall 2017 Couture dress.

In principle I like the dress, but I feel like the train is a tad redundant. It looks like a table runner without appearing to have any real functionality when it comes to this look at all.

Green Aquazzura sandals and a diamond choker completed her look.

Sonam Kapoor In Vera Wang Collection – 63rd Filmfare Awards

Sonam Kapoor turned heads at the 63rd Filmfare Awards in Worli, Mumbai on Saturday (January 20).

The Indian actress has been in a monochromatic mood of late. She continued the trend with her Vera Wang Collection Fall 2017 ensemble.

The proportions are what make the outfit. I was in favor of the shorter silhouette with chunky footwear from the lookbook, but I love her fresh approach.

The knee-skimming shorts and the striped sweater sleeves create an entirely new effect, but still retain the grace and impact of the original.

Gucci shoes and an Elie Saab clutch topped off the look.

Sonam Kapoor In Kojak Studio – ‘Pad Man’ London Photocall

The minute I saw Sonam Kapoor at the ‘Pad Man’ London photocall on Thursday (January 18), she took my breath away.

Continuing her monochromatic form, this Kojak Studio Spring 2018 look commanded the room with a strength of form and sweeping beauty that we’d expect in a dress.

Yet, this red suit was the very definition of modern power dressing, marrying the strong tailoring of the menswear-inspired blazer with the feminine drape of the trousers.

I love how her long, dark waves added even more alluring drama.

A tonal red Thale Blanc bag completed the look.

Sonam Kapoor In Bouguessa and Viktor & Rolf Soir – IWC Schaffhausen (SIHH) Event

Sonam Kapoor was on hand to help IWC Schaffhausen celebrate the Maison launch of its Jubilee Collection at the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH) on Tuesday (January 16) in Geneva, Switzerland.

Taking a cue from Gigi Hadid, the Bollywood star opted for a monochromatic dusky rose pink look from minimalist luxury label, Bouguessa.

It’s never too late to jump on the power suit trend, but Sonam makes it her own by incorporating a matching duster coat.

I can’t say I’m a fan of the red earrings, but I do love the wintery Bordeaux hue of her boots, which matched her lip.
