Sienna Miller In Carven - BFI Gala Dinner

Sienna Miller attended a gala dinner hosted by the BFI ahead of the 57th London Film Festival held at 8 Northumberland Avenue in London, England yesterday evening, which also saw Eliza Doolittle in attendance.

The British actress turned to a much loved Parisian brand for her red carpet look, wearing a Carven white dress from the Resort 2014 collection.

Her spaghetti-strap dress featuring a gathered bodice and a draped, wrap-effect skirt with on-seam side pockets was styled with De Beers diamond jewels and black Christian Louboutin ‘So Kate’ pumps.

Yes, I am disappointed by the pumps, especially when everything is so clean and simple here.

Do you feel like you’ve seen this dress before?

That’s because Diane Kruger wore the Prince of Wales check-print strapless Look Book version of this dress earlier this year.

Sienna Miller In Alexander McQueen – Clinton Global Initiative

Sienna Miller attended a reception for the Clinton Global Initiative, hosted in New York City yesterday evening.

While there, the actress and International Medical Corps ambassador showed her dedication to the initiative—and to fashion. Her off-the-shoulder Alexander McQueen dress was subtle, yet also delivered a more dynamic punch with the gold embroidered lattice pattern on the bodice.

She also kept her accessories on the quiet side with minimal jewels and black, pointy Ash ‘Janet’ black suede booties, along with barely-there makeup and loosely styled blonde locks.

Does she get your style vote this time out?

An Evening To Celebrate The Global Fund

Many other fashionistas joined the Beckhams at Apsley House in London yesterday evening for the celebration of the Global Fund’s first Green Carpet Challenge.

Jemma Kidd: The makeup artist/fashion model wore an Antonio Berardi Resort 2014 blue-black-and-white geometric-print dress styled with Roger Vivier pumps and a black clutch. For me there is a huge disconnect between the dress and the shoes. A sexy pair of Manolos or edgy footwear by Casadei or Kirkwood would’ve been more complementary.

Sienna Miller: After taking her front-row seat as brand ambassador at the Burberry Prorsum Spring 2014 show, the actress wore a Dolce & Gabbana dress featuring the brand’s hallmarks: floral and lace. Having seen this dress in various guises on the red carpet before, it’s a little hard to get that excited about it, especially when she styled it with flats.

Jodi Kidd: Joining her sister at the event, the former race car driver who has recently returned to modelling wore an Preen navy-and-neon-yellow floral dress styled with sexy lace Jimmy Choos, bracelets and a black clutch. Thankfully, her shoe game is better than her sister’s. You may remember that fellow model Helena Christensen wore the same dress earlier this year.

Burberry Front Row

Burberry Prorsum’s pretty, English rose-themed Spring 2014 collection debuted today at Kensington Gardens during London Fashion Week. There were plenty of PYTs, and even a particular One Direction boy, who crowded the front row for the cheerful runway action.

Sienna Miller: Fully embracing the fall season, the Burberry-clad actress, who appears in the label’s Fall 2013 campaign, showed us how the midriff trend might transition to colder temps.  Her fuzzy, forest-green cropped jacket was matched to the slimmer silhouette of a classic pencil skirt in a similar tonal shade. Embellished sandals and a baby-blue clutch didn’t fit in as seamlessly as I would have liked.

Naomie Harris: Sleek and effortless, the actress wore a buttery-yellow sheath dress from the Burberry Resort 2014 collection. Accessorizing with black ankle-strap sandals and a mini-clutch, along with straight locks, she proved that simple is sometimes best.

Paloma Faith: The British singer-songwriter paid homage to the Burberry label with her Fall 2013 goldenrod trench and rubberized skirt, which she paired with a mahogany pumps and studded bag. Of course, all eyes were also on her flame-red curls, which always add an exclamation point to each of her outings.

Who Wore Dolce & Gabbana Better Lea Seydoux, Julia Restoin Roitfeld or Sienna Miller

Dolce & Gabbana’s floral-print dresses are always a favourite among celebrities, but this particular baby-doll sundress infused with a summer-fruits print and subtle sequin detailing has been donned by three lovely ladies this summer.

Lea Seydoux gave this frock and the Christian Louboutin ‘Lagoula’ sandals their red carpet debut at the Cannes Film Festival photocall for her movie ‘La Vie D’Adele’.

Dolce devotee Julia Restoin Roitfeld kept the summery vibe of her dress going with a white Dolce bag and light-green wedges.

Finally, Sienna Miller attended the BMW i3 Global Reveal event, styling her frock with Charlotte Olympia ‘Sugar High’ sandals, opulent earrings and a watermelon lip colour.

This is one of the hardest WWIB posts I have ever done. Each lady wore it – and, most importantly, styled it – well.

I wanted to give this to Julia for considering the colour palette of her dress when selecting her accessories, but in the end I gave this win to Lea. Mostly because her styling was the most simple and effortless, allowing the dress to be the focus.

You can buy their Dolce & Gabbana baby-doll dress from Barneys.
