Nelly Furtado was front row at Elie Saab’s recent Spring 2010 presentation in Paris.

She was obviously shopping for this event as she walked the red carpet wearing a beige Elie Saab Spring 2010 studded panel dress.

I loved the dress on the runway, but I would’ve loved Nelly’s look had she worn the runway leather strappy heels.

Alessandra Ambrosio this Balmain Fall 2008 dress was amazing the first time we saw it on Selita Ebanks.

We’ve since seen it on LaToya Luckett and Cheryl Cole.

I for one am so over this dress, that I can’t even appreciate how speculator you look in it.

Sorry but there are a million and one other mini dresses you could have chosen to wow us in.

Ashley Tisdale seems to have changed direction from the rock chick look she was channeling for a while, back to wearing cute dresses again.

On this red carpet she wore a black twill and tulle Camilla & Marc Lotus dress.

She added a patent belt to add more texture to her cute mini dress, and her leopard print Louboutin heels hinted at her wild side.

Audrina Patridge showed off her tattooed back wearing a black backless mini Oday Shakar sparkling dress which she paired with Lanvin thigh-high boots.

Call me crazy, but I like this look.

Not many could get away with this look.

Many of you say that Taylor Swift always wears embellished dresses on the red carpet, and I would say the same for Miranda Cosgrove.

These shapeless embellished dresses she loves to wear on the red carpet, are all started to feel a bit samey.

Here she wears a Elise Overland dress, paired with Guiseppe Zanotti heels.

Paulina Rubio wore an Ina Soltani LBD accented with rosettes.

The dress is cute, but the black and silver ankle boots just ruin the look for me.

Kelly Rowland’s dress looks like a Bebe knock-off dress.

The only redeeming quality it has is making her legs look long and lean.

Kelly Osbourne was the surprise on this red carpet.

The UK TV star wore a plum mini D&G dress with voluminous skirt and shoulders, paired with a stunning glass Swarovski necklace and a sparkling Swarovski purple crystal clutch.

For some reason Selena Gomez didn’t walk the red carpet, but she was spotted backstage wearing a Paule Ka nude strapless dress with a sheer nude floor-length overlay.

I’m so grateful Eva Longoria is keeping her cute sassy little dresses phase. The LBD and tuxedo phase didn’t sit well with me.

This is how I prefer Eva.

The pint-size ‘Desperate Housewives’ star looked stunning wearing a white pleated organza strapless Marchesa dress with a gold embroidered waist band.

I love the colour against her skin.

Gold peep-toes and a sweeping updo complete the look.

Dania Ramirez stepped onto the red carpet wearing a playful LBD by Ina Soltani.

The gorgeous actress looked glam in the black one shoulder taffeta mini dress with floral appliqué detail cascading from the strap to the bodice and a ruched hem.

Paulina Rubio paired a sexy little aqua dress with a leather jacket and YSL Fall 2008 gold platformed heels.

Nice dress, but did she really need to wear that leather jacket?

Jennifer Morrison kept her look very simple wearing a white kimono sleeved dress with gold peep-toes.

Mexican singer Paulina Rubio has received many Billboard Latin Music Awards and has sold over 20 million albums worldwide. She is known as “The Golden Girl”, “La Chica Dorada”, and “Queen Of Latin Pop.”

Currently she’s releasing a new album after a 2 year break called “Gran City Pop” with the first single called “Causa y Efecto”.

Iona from Barcelona brought to my attention that sexy singer wore my favourite Balmain Fall 2009 one-sleeved blue sequined dress in the “Causa y Efecto” video, with a matching pair of blue sunglasses.

The video is not what I would expect from a Latin video, as it very much has a rock element with the band and Paulina’s rock chick attitude as she strums on a guitar.

Love it.

This stunning dress is available to pre-order from Luisa via Roma for an eye-popping €10,773.

Jennifer Lopez was very much on-trend wearing her electric blue Marchesa strapless gown, which had a matching blue jewel detail on the empire-waist.

I much prefer this dress to her gold Golden Globes dress. This is what she should have worn, much more classy.

I adore this green Oscar de la Renta gown on Shakira. The large bow on some would have been overbearing, but I think she carries it well.

The only thing I will say is that I prefer a wavy haired Shakira.

Paulina Rubio follows the Golden Globes nude trend, with this nude strapless gown.

This deep purple halter gown is not the most flattering for Rosario Dawson.

She bizarrely wears her dress with purple suede pumps, and her make-up is too pale. Not a great look for Rosario.

Rosie Perez squashes her lady lumps in this black Dolce and Gabbana dress with a silver embellished detail.

Nicole Kidman arrived with her husband Keith Urban, looking radiant in this Yves Saint Laurent Pre-Fall 2008 maroon gown with braided detail.

The gathered detail on this dress is doing a good job of concealing Nicole’s baby bump, because for 7 months she is barely showing.

What I love about this Badgley Mischa Platinum dress on Carrie Underwood, apart from the gorgeous colour, is the fact that for once, she did not dress like she was going to the prom or a bridesmaid at a wedding.

Knowing this event was coming, I was so sure Carrie would do the big pouffy dress in pale blue, blossom pink or beige, but she surprised me with this embellished asymmetric vampy violet mini dress which gathered at the hip.

She completed her look with strappy silver heels and a matching silver wristband.

LeAnn Rimes evoked the 1920s flapper style, with her layered Julia Clancey dress, with layered necklaces and marcel waves.

LeAnn seems to do well on the red carpet for big events, she is never predictable, which I like.

Miley Cyrus is still dressing far too old for her age. When Carrie Underwood and LeAnn Rimes went short and sassy, Miley goes long and boring. Yes the maxi dress is on trend, but she is 15.

Thankfully, no pouting on the red carpet last night.

I have never been a fan of lace, and white lace just makes me shudder, so Jewel had no chance of endearing herself to me in this strapless mini Gustavo Cadile 2008 Resort dress.

At the 2008 Grammy’s Taylor Swift’s lavendar dress was hideous. Last night she looked much better wearing a sexy v-neck layered, asymmetric hemline dress by Balenciaga.

Ballroom dancer Julianne Hough kept to the short and sassy theme, by wearing this very pale lavender Roberto Cavalli haltered ruffle dress.

Despite Paula Abdul slightly resembling Spider Woman in this dress, I do like it.

It gives Paula a nice silhouette, and she is not in danger of falling out of the dress, which is always a fear with most of her red carpet ensembles.

Faith Hill wore an all black ensemble, which I don’t think it does her any justice.

This is a shame, because Faith usually outshines everyone at these Country events.

On stage Carrie Underwood opted for this prom-inspired Betsey Johnson Spring 2008 strapless dress.

I knew she could not ditch the prom-look for long, but for once I really loved it. The style and the colour really suit her.

Co-presenter Miley Cyrus could have done without the knee-high boots with this ensemble, but I do like the simple white tank top, the leather jacket and the embellished Missoni Spring 2008 mini skirt.

This DKNY Fall 2008 is what Miley should have worn on the red carpet.

It is cute, fun, age appropriate and more in tune with what her target audience would wear. Instead she wore it backstage.

Pauline Rubio and Selita Ebank are wearing this ultra mini Spring 2007 Roberto Cavalli dress. Pauline wore it very short like the model whereas Selita opted for the dress with 2 more inches in length.

This is a hard one because they both have amazing legs.

Mmmmm….Selita.
