Jane Fonda In Atelier Versace – ‘This Is Where I Leave You’ LA Premiere

Jane Fonda In Atelier Versace - 'This Is Where I Leave You' LA Premiere

Jane Fonda attended the LA premiere of ‘This Is Where I Leave You’ held at TCL Chinese Theatre on Monday (September 15) in Hollywood, California.

Continuing to skip wearing a dress in favour of trousers, the actress wore a custom Atelier Versace look which features a black turtleneck accented with geometric bugle beading paired with flattering black tuxedo trousers.

When you think of Atelier Versace, a look which is a lot more revealing immediately springs to mind, so this proves that the house can do elegant and refined.

Onyx and gold jewels completed this head-to-toe perfect red carpet look.

Jada Pinkett Smith In Blumarine – ‘Gotham’ New York Premiere

Jada Pinkett Smith In Blumarine - 'Gotham' New York Premiere

Jada Pinkett Smith attended the ‘Gotham’ series premiere held at The New York Public Library on Monday (September 15) in New York City.

Usually a fan of Jada’s style, I have noticed that things have been slipping of late and this latest offering confirms my fears.

Her black Blumarine Fall 2014 dress with a tulip-shaped skirt and gold lapel detailing is a tad dated to say the very least. A throwback to the 80s one might call it, especially with those Joan-Collins-style shoulder pads.

Her Lorraine Schwartz jewels, black sandals and Edie Parker clutch fade into the background of this disappointing look.

Tina Fey In Osman – ‘This Is Where I Leave You’ LA Premiere

Tina Fey In Osman - 'This Is Where I Leave You' LA Premiere

Tina Fey attended the ‘This Is Where I Leave You’ LA premiere held at TCL Chinese Theatre on Monday (September 15) in Hollywood, California.

The actress usually conforms to a simple silhouette and muted tones style, so imagine my surprise to see her wearing this Osman Spring 2014 colourful strapless orange and blue bonsai-print tea-length dress with an asymmetrical hemline.

This step outside her comfort zone was a very successful one. The colour is electrifying, the style refreshing and the styling – which included blue Louboutins plus blue and orange stone jewels – complements the look without upstaging or overwhelming.

You may have tagged this dress for Hailee Steinfeld or Shailene Woodley, but I think Tina carries off the look with great aplomb.

Do you agree?

Taylor Schilling In Elie Saab – ‘Netflix’ Launch Party

Taylor Schilling In Elie Saab - 'Netflix' Launch Party

Taylor Schilling continued her chic run while attending the ‘Netflix’ Launch Party at Le Faust on Monday (September 15) in Paris, France.

Clean, simple silhouettes seem to work best for Taylor. Cast in a striking cobalt-blue palette, her Elie Saab Pre-Fall 2014 dress featured an alluring sheer insert in the hemline.

The styling was in the same vein, with black sandals and a small black clutch providing the arm candy.

I just love how her style exudes contemporary sophistication.

Kerry Washington In Alexander McQueen – 2014 Allstate Foundation Purple Purse Program

Kerry Washington In Alexander McQueen - 2014 Allstate Foundation Purple Purse Program

Kerry Washington hosted the 2014 Allstate Foundation Purple Purse Program held at The Glasshouses on Monday (September 15) in New York City.

Working a sexier look than we are used to from the ‘Scandal’ star, she wore a green leather Alexander McQueen Resort 2015 strapless bustier dress.

With her purple purse the focus of this look, she complemented the arm candy with matching Casadei pumps.

While I love the complementary eye makeup and the crinkle effect of the leather, I feel like this dress is perhaps missing a belt.

Should Kerry have belted this look?

FYI: Kerry designed the purse for the Allstate Foundation. The foundation was set up to help combat domestic violence and financial abuse. Read more about it here.
