Birks UK Jewellery Launch

Renowned Canadian jewellery brand Birks celebrated its launch in the UK with a cocktail event at Canada House  in London on Monday (October 16).

Laura Haddock: I thought it was quite fitting that Laura wore one of her favourite designers – Emilia Wickstead – to give her baby bump its red carpet debut. The last time she wore pink was during her ‘Transformers: The Last Knight’ promo tour, but on this occasion she could be dropping a subtle hint that she’s expecting a girl. Laura wore the Muse mesh hoop earrings and Muse ribbon cuff bracelet from the Birks Muse Collection and the Rose du Matin wrap flex wrap ring in yellow gold from the Birks Rose du Matin Collection with navy Louboutins.

Arizona Muse: We don’t see enough Paul Smith on the red carpet, so I’m delighted to see Arizona don this suit in fashion’s most daring shade – raspberry. The sharp tailoring and plush fabrication ensure that this look will never date. Arizona wore the Bee Chic Honeycomb earrings with diamonds, Bee Chic Honeycomb pendant with diamond & Bee Chic Honeycomb ring with diamonds from the Birks Bee Chic Collection.

Andrea Riseborough In Schiaparelli Couture – ‘The Death Of Stalin’ London Premiere

Andrea Riseborough was back on the red carpet for ‘The Death Of Stalin’ London premiere this evening (October 17).

If there was a mood board created prior to Andrea stepping onto the red carpet tonight, my guess is that Edie Sedgwick would’ve featured heavily.

Everything about the look screams swinging 60s from the Schiaparelli Fall 2017 Couture white dress embroidered with glass tubes, to the bold eye makeup and platinum blonde hair.

Despite the 60s vibe, Andrea kept the look fresh with white pumps and a single Dauphin earring.

Get The Look: Kristen Stewart’s Elle WIH makeup

Celebrity makeup artist Jamie Greenberg worked with Kristen Stewart for Elle’s Women in Hollywood event yesterday evening.

Here’s how to get the look.

“I first prepped the skin using the Chanel Hydro Beauty Micro Cream to give the makeup a great base to lay on.”

“Since we went with such a smokey eye, I started first with Kristen’s eyes. I used the Chanel L’intemporel Eye Shadow Palette with Chanel Le Crayon Khol Eyeliner Pencil in black and lots of layers of Chanel Le Volume Mascara. For her lashes, we used Ardell Lashes in Short Black Trios.

“Then for skin I used one of my all-time favorite products Chanel Vitalumiere Foundation to give a perfect complexion. Then I used the Chanel Correcteur Perfection Concealer. After applying concealer, I added some colour to the cheeks using the gorgeous Chanel Nude Blush Joues Contraste in Jersey and Chanel Soliel De Tan for the bronze glow on the apples of her cheeks”.

“Last but not least I gave Kristen’s lips some natural color by applying a light layer of Chanel Rouge Coco Stylo Lipshine in the shade Panorama.”

Daniella Garcia Lorido In Christian Dior – ‘Geostorm’ LA Premiere

Daniella Garcia Lorido joined Abbie Cornish at the ‘Geostorm’ LA premiere on Monday (October 16).

The actress evoked a starry night sky in her Christian Dior gown. The black fit-and-flare dress was decorated with a gold celestial print.

She allowed the dynamic pattern to remain the focus with minimal accessorising and undone waves.

We’ve seen a number of sheer Dior dresses with logo briefs grace the red carpet so I am pleased to see other looks being championed.

Rihanna is Instaglam in Nina Ricci

Recently, Rihanna hasn’t met a voluminous silhouette that she doesn’t like. She has been wearing dramatic proportions on the red carpet, off-duty and in her Instaglam moments.

For her most recent social media photo-op, she struck a pose in a Nina Ricci Spring 2018 ensemble. The layered look might not have been as full as some of the singer’s previous ones, but what it lacked in volume, it made up for in fabulous details.

The girly lilac and soft pink colour palette took the exaggerated pointed shoulders of the jacket in a less severe direction. Had it been black, I don’t think it would have made quite the impact. Combined with the sheer dress and belt, the outfit mixed hard and soft elements so it didn’t become too precious.

The accessories were equally exciting with her wearing an Anabela Chan diamond flower ring and fuzzy pink heels.

Skai Jackson In Nowadays – BuildSeries

Skai Jackson paid a visit to ‘BuildSeries’ on Monday (October 16) in New York City to discuss Nowadays, her clothing collection.

Clad in her own line, the ‘Bunk’d’ actress worked an interesting combination of a black ruffled bodysuit with slim burgundy pants. The sparkly black stripe down the side of the trousers gave them a luxe athleisure feel while the floral embroidery and soft sleeve frills on the bodysuit had a sweet vibe.

A pair of fashion-forward silver ankle boots added a futuristic element to the look.

The ensemble shows Skai has an innate sense of styling well beyond her 15 years and I am interested in watching her look develop further.
