Pace Wu In Roland Mouret - 'SuperStar C'

Pace Wu was recently appointed as one of the judges of Chinese talent show ‘SuperStar C’ (C for China) which aired last week – I’m guessing this is China’s answer to Britain’s or America’s Got Talent.

The model/actress looked beyond stunning, wearing an expertly tailored Roland Mouret Pre-Fall 2013 bright-red dress showcasing the designer’s superior folding techniques with origami folds on the bodice and waist.

Metallic-gold Christian Louboutin ‘ Poseidon’ peep-toes, a gold bracelet and a red watch accessorized the look, with clean, simple makeup and a half-up, half-down hairstyle to polish off the look.

I know what you are thinking, I thought the same too – “She’s worn this before”.

Not quite. To the Design Group Spring/Summer 2013 fashion show back in April she wore a red dress from Mouret’s Spring 2013 collection with a totally different folding technique and central slit.

It would appear that Pace loves Roland’s chic, sexy fitted signature dresses. And who can blame her?

WWIB Lanvin

Kerry Washington attended the Elle and Tod’s event held in her honour back in June wearing a Lanvin one-shoulder duchess satin dress with oversized ruffles on the shoulder.

The buttery-soft rose-beige dress was styled with a gold studded Tod’s clutch, butterscotch Louboutin pumps and a simple updo.

Sporting a cropped wig, Pace Wu wore the same dress while attending the ‘Lancôme Show by Alber Elbaz’ party during Paris Couture fashion week.

The Asian beauty who had been taking the front row by storm all week styled her look with nude Jimmy Choo ‘Cosmic’ pumps and a wooden Lanvin clutch.

It took a lot of toing and froing, but in the end I went with Kerry, mostly because I prefer her clutch. Other than that it was impossible to separate the two as both looked amazing in this frock.

You can buy their Lanvin dress from Neiman Marcus and  Nordstrom.

Who Wore Chloe Better Pace Wu or Diane Kruger

Pace Wu, who has dominated the front row at Paris Fashion Week for three seasons now, took her seat at the front row for Chloe’s Fall 2013 presentation wearing a look from their Spring 2013 collection.

She wore a silver-beaded and crystal-arrowed white crepe cropped tank with an ivory skirt styled with a Chloe clutch, silver Jimmy Choo ‘Lance’ sandals and a messy bun.

Going from the front row to the streets of LA, Diane Kruger wore the same top a few months later with Current/Elliott jeans, sandals, cat-eye sunglasses and the celeb favourite Balmain ‘Pierre’ bag.

Both ladies wore it well in their respective environments, but I have to go with Pace on this one. Despite being in a more formal setting, the look still has a playful appeal.

Pace Wu In Elie Saab - P&G's Pro Series Shampoo Line Promotion Event

Pace Wu attended a commercial event which saw her unveiled as the new ambassador for P&G’s Pro Series shampoo line on Friday in Beijing, China.

With green being the colour of the brand’s logo and product, Pace selected a green Elie Saab gown for the occasion.

Her chiffon emerald-green gown with a lace patterned bodice was effortlessly styled with a gold bracelet and enviable glossy wavy tresses.

I know what you are thinking: this is a tad OTT for a launch of a shampoo line, but in this instance she is selling glamour and you can’t get more glamorous than an Elie Saab gown.

Best Dressed of The Week - Zhang Ziyi In Valentino Couture & Pace Wu In Ulyana Sergeenko Couture

You guys weren’t crazy about either Zhang Ziyi’s Lanvin look or her Giambattista Valli Couture gown; however, you fell head over heels in love with her Valentino Couture cape dress.

I had a much harder time picking a favourite, with Miroslava, Rinko, Naomie and Sandra all impressing, but my final winner was the gorgeous Pace Wu in Ulyana Sergeenko Couture.

Who Was Your Best Dressed At Couture Week

Two ladies stood head and shoulders above all the fashionistas in the front row of Haute Couture fashion week: Miroslava Duma and Pace Wu.

The petite Russian fashion editor gave us an array of colourful looks ranging from a mini dress from Camilla and Marc, to a colourful Dior frock, denim shorts paired with a smart Chanel jacket, a sexy Jason Wu two-piece look, a flirty floral frock, and a sophisticated Fendi ensemble.

Pace Wu kept to a very neutral colour palette during the week, wearing white or nude frocks, starting with a fairytale-like Giambattista Valli strapless Couture gown and progressing through a ladylike Ulyana Sergeenko Couture frock, a one-shoulder Lanvin dress, a sheer Elie Saab dress and a ruffled Viktor & Rolf gown. The only other colour she opted for was a blue Ulyana Sergeenko gown with a familiar neckline.

Looking back, I love the variety of colour and the daring looks displayed by Miroslava, so she takes the crown for Couture Week Queen.

Whose looks did you prefer?
