Nicole Scherzinger In Randi Rahm – “The X-Factor” World Premiere

Nicole Scherzinger attended the world premiere of “The X-Factor” held at the ArcLight Cinemas Cinerama Dome in Hollywood on Wednesday.

The singer picked a Randi Rahm dress for the big event.

Her silver embellished halter-neck dress features a sexy open back.

Nicole accessorized with a diamond cocktail ring and tiny stud earrings.

I’m not keen on this look because I think the style of the dress is old-fashioned and the silver fabric isn’t working for me.

Quite frankly I find this look tacky plus the black pumps are too conservative for such a dress.

She styled her hair in a braided ponytail and kept the focus of her makeup on her eyes.

Nicole is a pretty girl, but she doesn’t appear to have any taste when it comes to dressing for the red carpet.

Introducing Shoerazzi

Shoerazzi has an amazing website dedicated to shoes glorious shoes.

Shoeazzi will be guest blogging for Red Carpet Fashion Awards recommending some fancy footwear for our favourite celebs.

Here’s Shoerazzi’s first post.

Nicole Scherzinger was spotted in Paris yesterday wearing a Camilla and Marc dress with nude Yves Saint Laurent Tribtoo suede pumps.

The Tribtoo has been the go-to staple pump for many celebrities. It’s an older style that needs to be retired. With so many gorgeous new spring styles available right now it baffles me why celebrities still clutch to this pump.

Shoes Nicole Should Have Worn:

Dries Van Noten strappy suede sandal blends and contrasts with the colors of Nicole’s dress. I love the 4 different shades of suede featured in the Dries Van Noten heel; it would have been a unique choice.

Nicholas Kirkwood’s satin rose printed platform pump floral design is beautifully romantic. The printed satin combined with the lace texture on Nicole’s dress would have looked fabulous.

Christian Louboutin Lady Peep platform slingback has two different greys featured on the Louboutin slingback. This would have made this heel an easy and safe choice for Nicole. This Lady Peep slingback features distressed light grey leather on the heel and platform.

The Gucci Sigourney studded sandal is available from Net-A-Porter US and Net-A-Porter International. The Sigourney is one of the hottest sandals for spring. The studded t-strap sandal compliments the vertical and horizontal ribbon design on Nicole’s lace dress.

Which pair would you pick for Nicole?

Who Wore Victoria Beckham Collection Better? Gwyneth Paltrow or Nicole Scherzinger

Gwyneth Paltrow and Nicole Scherzinger both looked amazing wearing Victoria Beckham Spring 2010 dress in this taupe colour.

Gwyneth wore her dress to a “Iron Man 2″ LA Premiere back in April.

She paired her super fitted dress with Georgina Goodman Leon Love sandals.

Stand-in X Factor judge Nicole Scherzinger arrived at the Manchester auditions wearing the same dress.

Brian Atwood ‘Drama’ pumps and silver accessories completed this sexy look.

Despite the dress being a tad tight on the bust, I just love the colour of this dress against Nicole skin tone so she wins for me.

X Factor Boot Camp – Nicole Scherzinger In Tibi

Nicole Scherzinger is still guest judge on the X Factor.

She’s covering the boot camp stage for Dannii Mingoue who’s on maternity leave and Cheryl Cole who’s battling to get better after being struck down with malaria.

The Pussycat Doll singer has finally given up her obsession with wearing pre-selected Victoria Beckham dresses and this time opted for a colourful Tibi Pre-Fall 2010.

Yesterday was gloriously sunny day in London. I would’ve loved her to have worn one of the amazing Tibi Spring 2010 looks, but thanks to the vibrant yellow print on her dress it doesn’t quite feel like a Fall dress.

The singer wore YSL Y bow slingbacks which complemented her black bow belt.

X Factor Manchester Auditions – Nicole Scherzinger In Victoria Beckham Again

On Friday we spotted Nicole Scherzinger wearing a slate grey Victoria Beckham dress to the X Factor Manchester auditions.

The Pussycat Doll singer obviously loves the VB Spring 2010 collection because she picked yet another well worn dress for the auditions on Saturday.

This dress was first worn by Blake Lively back in October last year, and has since been worn by Yvonne Keating, Danielle Lineker, Jennifer Hudson, America Ferrera as Betty Suarez and of course Victoria herself.

I much preferred Friday’s dress as I’m not liking the long sleeves on what was quite possibly the hottest day of the century in the UK on Saturday.

This look says to me that Nicole doesn’t have her own fashion identity because she’s simply picking well worn pieces to be compared to others rather than making a her own fashion choices.

Sorry, but this just bores me.

X Factor Manchester Auditions – Nicole Scherzinger In Victoria Beckham

Nicole Scherzinger of the Pussycat Dolls arrived in Manchester today as the guest judge on the ‘X Factor’.

She looked beautiful wearing a slate grey Victoria Beckham Spring 2010 dress which was a tad too tight around the bust.

Nicole wore her dress with Brian Atwood ‘Drama’ pumps, which are the same nude patent pumps with the black heel which Victoria wore to the Range Rover event recently.

Maybe if you buy a VB dress you get Brian Atwood pumps free.

As much as I love this dress on Nicole, I would like to retire it along with the Julien Macdonald dress, and lace Dolce & Gabbana dress.

This is the 3rd time we’ve seen this dress worn by a celebrity as both Janet Jackson and Gwyneth Paltrow have worn it.

Actually it’s the 5th time if you count Danielle Lineker and Jennifer Lopez’ pink versions.

Enough’s enough. There are plenty other dresses we’ve yet to see from the runway.

Why does everyone keep picking the same ones?

07.01.10 Worst Dressed

2010 People’s Choice Awards – Worst Dressed

Worst Dressed Award
Nicole Scherzinger is a beautiful woman, but I really didn’t like her David Meister’s liquid gold halter gown.

The colour suits her skin tone, but the style feels a bit old fashioned.

She would’ve looked amazing in something more contemporary.

Not Going To Be A Popular Choice But…Award
…I didn’t like Olivia Wilde in this Monique Lhuillier dress.

I don’t like the length of the skirt, nor do I like the way her hair is styled.

In many pictures she also looked a bit washed out.

I’m sure many of you will disagree, but I apart from her Sergio Rossi heels I couldn’t find one positive.

Ill-Fitting Award
Kelly Rutherford vintage inspired Jenny Packham Fall gown is beautiful, but it just didn’t like it on her.

It took me a while to figure out why, but it’s the fit plus the hook neckline detail and the lack of support the turns me off.

The gown looks much much better on the runway.

Nice Dress Shame About The OTT Necklace Award
Demi Lovato is wearing a gorgeous blue Jenny Packham strapless ruffled mini dress with a black satin sash tie around her waist, but she over cooked this look with the OTT necklace.

The ruffles were enough details to keep this look interesting, but she takes the focus away from her dress to that garish necklace.

Least Flattering Award
Colbie Caillat’s orange dress either accentuated her broad shoulders, or gave her broaders. Either way her dress paired with a Lauren Merkin’s “Lotte” clutch wasn’t very flattering.
