Nicole Kidman In Louis Vuitton & Valentino Couture – ‘Queen of the Desert’ Berlin Film Festival Photocall & Premiere

Nicole Kidman In Louis Vuitton & Valentino Couture - 'Queen of the Desert' Berlin Film Festival Photocall & Premiere

Nicole Kidman chose the Berlinale International Film Festival to showcase a new chic, shorter ‘do while promoting the ‘Queen of the Desert’ movie today (February 6) in Berlin, Germany.

Photocall: Dressing for the current season, the Australian actress kept her look simple, yet modern wearing a Louis Vuitton black long-sleeve dress fashioned with an oversized exposed zipper. Gleaming with sartorial finesse she completed her look with black tights, Fred Leighton earrings, an Omega timepiece and those popular LV ankle boots.

Premiere: The premiere is where she gave me mild goosebumps wearing a Valentino Haute Couture gown from the Sala Bianca 945 collection. I love everything about this breath-taking look from the luminous white daisy appliqués to the girlish flounced cuffs to achieve standout elegance.

It’s about time someone served up a BDOTY worthy look; it has been a very dry January.

Nicole Kidman In Altuzarra – 2015 G’Day USA Gala

Nicole Kidman In Altuzarra - 2015 G’Day USA Gala

Nicole Kidman attended the 2015 G’Day USA Gala held at the Hollywood Palladium on Saturday (January 31) in Los Angeles, California.

The actress wore an Altuzarra ‘Peregrine’ devoré gown with low back and high slit from the Pre-Fall 2015 collection.

Had it not been for the pink lip and devoré fabric mimicking both leopard and zebra prints, I wouldn’t have been intrigued by this look, which reads ‘I’m here but don’t want to make a splash’.

I wish she had made a splash or at least a ripple effect as this is just an ok look.

What say you?

Nicole Kidman In Nina Ricci – ‘Paddington’ LA Premiere

Nicole Kidman In Nina Ricci - 'Paddington' LA Premiere

Skipping all the pre-Globes madness, Nicole Kidman took to the red carpet at the TCL Chinese Theatre IMAX on Saturday (January 10) in Hollywood, California for the LA premiere of ‘Paddington.’

The Australian actress selected a very lady-like offering from Nina Ricci’s Spring 2015 collection which consisted of a haltered, waistcoat-like top and frayed edge skirt.

Between its tweed knit fabrication, contoured fit, and a smattering of sequin detailing, this effortlessly chic look, which Nicole styled with grey Valentino ankle-strap pumps and a selection of jewels, is one of my favourite looks from this promo tour so far.

Nicole Kidman In Elie Saab & Salvatore Ferragamo – ‘Paddington’ New York Screening & The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

Nicole Kidman In Elie Saab & Salvatore Ferragamo - 'Paddington' New York Screening & The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

Nicole Kidman was in New York City yesterday (January 6) promoting her latest movie, ‘Paddington’, starting with a screening held at The Film Society of Lincoln Center before making a guest appearance on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’.

‘Paddington’ New York Screening: After several more playful looks for this promotion she opted for a more conservative look on this occasion, wearing an Elie Saab Pre-Fall 2015 suit featuring a blazer with satin shawl collar and gold clasp accent. I love the studded Saint Laurent pumps with this look. Le Smoking has never looked so good.

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon: It was black again for Nicole, who wore a Salvatore Ferragamo Fall 2014 metallic black long-sleeve pleated dress styled with Dolce & Gabbana sexy strappy sandals. Are you having a case of déja vu? That’s because this is the second time Nicole has worn this dress. The first time was back in June for the ‘Grace of Monaco’ Shanghai Film Festival Press Conference. I prefer this look the second time around as I much prefer Nicole’s hair and styling.

Nicole Kidman In Vera Wang – ‘Paddington’ Sydney Premiere

Nicole Kidman In Vera Wang - 'Paddington' Sydney Premiere

Nicole Kidman attended the Sydney premiere of ‘Paddington’ held at Event Cinemas George Street on Sunday (December 7) in Australia.

The actress wore a romantic Vera Wang Spring 2015 blush floral-print pleated and ruched tiered gown styled with a stack of gold bangles.

I love how relaxed the look feels, with the youthful flourish of a side-braided ponytail.

It’s great to see the actress at ease and having fun on the red carpet.

Nicole Kidman In BOSS – 2014 CMT Artists Of The Year

Nicole Kidman In BOSS - 2014 CMT Artists Of The Year

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban attended the 2014 CMT Artists Of The Year held at Nashville Symphony Hall on Tuesday (December 2) in Nashville, Tennessee.

The Australian actress wore a BOSS Spring 2015 black pleated tulle dress with the brand’s signature sheer overlay, which she styled with thick ankle cuff sandals and a gorgeous pair of green earrings.

I really can’t say I’m a fan of this look.

Perhaps a better picture may have enhanced my feelings towards this look, or if she had worn her hair up to show the sheer straps and earrings more, but overall, I think this is just a tad boring by Nicole’s standards.

Nicole Kidman In Prada – Agon Channel Launch Party

Nicole Kidman In Prada - Agon Channel Launch Party

Following the London premiere of her latest movie, ‘Paddington’, Nicole Kidman attended the Agon Channel launch party photocall on Wednesday (November 26) in Milan, Italy.

The actress wore Prada, again.

Without the crystal trims it would appear that this jacquard frock is from the Spring 2015 collection.

While I loved the playful look from the London premiere, this doesn’t work for me in any way, shape or form, proving that when it comes to red carpet dressing, Prada is very hit and miss, with more of the latter than the former.

This look is far too stuffy for Nicole. I don’t find the dress to be particularly flattering and I’m not a fan of the high neckline.

Apart from her gorgeous face and soft, wavy updo, there is nothing positive I can take from this look.
