Red Carpet Fashion Awards

50th Anniversary of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue

NBC And Time Inc. celebrated the 50th Anniversary of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue held at Dolby Theatre on Tuesday (January 14) in Hollywood, California.

Heidi Klum: The model, whose Golden Globe look you deemed as yet another red carpet disaster, wore a biker-chic red leather dress courtesy of Jitrois with matching leather pumps, with her favourite jeweller, Lorraine Schwartz, providing the bling.

Kate Upton: The model opted to go glam, wearing a black Antonio Berardi gown, which may have been a tad OTT for the event, styled with David Yurman rings and a selection of Dior Fine Jewelry.

Marisa Miller: There’s something about Marisa that never appears to change, and that’s her hair and makeup. The model wore an Amen long-sleeved gold sequined Fall 2013 dress with standard nude Louboutin pumps.

Marisa Miller In Catherine Malandrino - 2013 ESPY Awards

Marisa Miller attended the 2013 ESPY Awards held at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in California yesterday evening.

The Victoria’s Secret model looked fabulous wearing a Catherine Malandrino cobalt-blue long-sleeved leather dress featuring horizontal sheer panelling from the designer’s Black Label collection.
With a sexy frock like this, she didn’t over-accessorize, adding only a gold ring and Christian Louboutin peep-toes to her look.

You may remember that Jennifer Lopez wore this same dress in black during American Idol back in April last year.

Refreshing Change Award
Victoria’s Secret model Marisa Miller shocked me when I saw her on the red carpet at the 2010 ESPY Awards.

Why?

Because she’s not wearing the VS uniform – a Herve Leger dress – I guess she’s only obligated to wear those dresses at VS events.

Instead she wore an Alexander Wang draped dress from the Resort 2010 collection.

Her sporty-luxe black satin-jersey dress has a nude mesh cutout racer-back which she shows off to the photographers.

The only thing predictable about Marisa’s look was her Trib Two heels.

The trend for sequin dresses doesn’t look like it’s going to lose its sparkle anytime soon.

Lauren, Lo and Marissa all wore this Alice + Olivia dress and it’s hard to tell who outshines who.

Lauren Conrad first wore this dress back in September to “VH1 Divas” in New York.

I love the peep toe shoes and simple accessories, which Lauren always seems to get so right.

Her low bun is cute, cute, cute and really suits the dress. Three cheers for her hair stylist!

Following closely in her footsteps was her Hills co-star Lo Bosworth with a gunmetal grey version of the dress, which she wore to her birthday celebrations at LIV in Miami back in October.

I think she looks great and it really hugs her frame well. However, I’m a bit unsure about the nude shoes. Surely this dress could have pulled off something stronger?

Also, Lo, your face is a little shiny.

The stunning Marissa Miller wore this dress recently on the “Tonight Show” and has the best accessory of all – her legs!

I would have liked to see her hair swept back though and the shoes seem a little too heavy for the dress.

It’s a tough one to call but I think Lauren Conrad just takes the lead. Everything seems to come together really well and she’s wearing the best shoes by far.

This dress is available to buy from Shopbop.com.
