Dita von Teese is picture perfect wearing a head to toe grey look.

The burlesque beauty wore a Dior belted shirt dress, which would have looked very much like a nurses uniform, had it not been for the embellished details on the shoulders.

She partnered her look with a large floral hair accessory, and snake-skin lace up Christian Louboutin heels.

Lollipop head aside, I do love this Amy Whinehouse-inspired beehhive look Mischa Barton is sporting.

Unlike some occasions, Mischa made a real effort, wearing a strapless yellow Christian Dior Spring 2009 dress, which was fringed and embellished with seashells and beads.

She completed her look with African fertility goddess figurine heels from the same Dior Spring 2009 collection.

I am imagining things? Mischa has lost a lot of weight, no?

Since her Oscar win, Marion Cotillard has not been seen much on the red carpet, nor outside her native country.

These days her look tends to be dark colours, and coats that cover up her ensemble. The only distinctive thing here is her Lady Dior ‘Cannage’ bag.

Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights Bridge Dedication Gala, New York

Sarah Jessica Parker is ‘oh so pretty’ in this pink Giambattista Valli sheath dress. I love this ladylike look, which she completes with a bronze necklace, a pewter frame bag and matching Louboutin’s.

Seventeen Magazine Names Beyonce Knowles 2008 Style Star Of The Year, New York

The high hair is back as Beyonce Knowles opts this look for her unveiling of her Seventeen cover.

The singer wears a burgundy Jean Paul Gaultier dress, with has a stunning contrast satin quilted top, and a wool skirt.

She completes her look with large earrings and nude Dior gladiators.

Champs-Elysees Christmas Lights Switch-On, Paris

Marion Cotillard wears a tweed Chanel Fall 2008 coat, with 3/4 length sleeves and a feathered with Christian Louboutin booties.

Hair and make-up do not fair so well.

Christian Dior & Chinese Artists, China

Charlize Theron arrived with the John Galliano, the designer of her custom-made Dior gown.

The actress looked absolute stunning, as she sparkled in the strapless gold sequin gown, which she teamed with gold accessories.

Note how she is looking at Galliano with admiration. I would too if he made me custom gowns that made me look that amazing.

Eva Green stayed away from her usual black, to wear this lime green Christian Dior Resort 2009 gown with embellished detailing on the neckline.

For me this is not one of Eva’s best looks, and the make-up is too heavy for such a brightly coloured dress.

Marion Cotillard who is the new face of Dior Bags, arrived on the red carpet wearing a fuchsia pink Christian Dior dress with matching shoes.

We have not seen much of Marion on the red carpet since her Oscar win, back in February, so it’s great to see her on the red carpet again.

“Quantum Of Solace” Premiere, Sydney

Olga Kurylenko looked drop dead gorgeous once again, showing off her long legs in a silver paillette covered mini Collette Dinnigan Spring 2009 low waist dress with metallic peep-toe Jimmy Choo’s.

Her hair was a tad mumsy, I would have loved her hair to have been pulled back in this dress.

Actor Daniel Craig and partner Satsuki Mitchell are such a beautiful couple.

Satsuki opted for a lime green satin gown which graduated with each layers to chartreuse at the hem. The dress had a plunging neckline and a long train.

The jewel tones on her clutch, matched the layers on her gorgeous gown.

MTV’s TRL “Total Finale Live”, New York

Vanessa Minnillo stood out the most at this event wearing a blue Tracy Reese strapless bow dress with white stars all over.

She wore her dress with silver star earrings and t-bar black sandals.

Beyonce performed her hits singles ‘If I Were a Boy’, ‘Single Ladies’, and ‘Crazy in Love’ during the final TRL show.

The single was looked amazing wearing a 3/4 length sleeved embroidered leather Alexander McQueen Fall 2008 jacket and skin-tight leather pants.

Every day her style choices get a little bit better. I guess now that she is married, she no longer feels the need to take style advice from her mother. THANK GOD.

Your Best Dressed last week, Taylor Swift, wore a black Shoshanna asymmetrical dress, with pleating at empire waist.

The curly haired singer wore her dress with black booties.

Hilary Duff surprised me wearing a black mini dress, with a sheer overlay, which she wore with a wide black belt.

This is a daring look for the young singer.

I adore her earrings.

“Billy Elliot The Musical” Opening Night, New York

Rachel Weisz arrived at the Billy Elliot The Musical opening night on Broadway wearing a Marc Jacobs Spring 2008 metallic embroidered shift dress with black pumps.

The British actress continues to shine on the red carpet.

The Hugo Boss Prize 2008, New York

Julianne Moore, one of the pioneers of the navy dress trend, wore a ruffled front navy Boss Black dress with black YSL Tribute Sandals to this event.

Christian Dior Spring 2009 collection was all about “Tribal chic” as John Galliano presented many short chiffon dresses and skirts.

Nearly every model walked the runway in a thigh grazing numbers, with six-inch heels and sculptural plaited Nefertiti inspired head-dresses.

Mirco-skirts were teamed with bustiers of python-skin, blazers and bowed blouses. Prints were heavily featured some with animal spots, to tie in the tribal chic reference.

A lot of pieces were see-through, but no doubt they will be lined by the time they hit both the shop floor and the red carpet.

The colour palette consisted of bright yellow, orange, fuchsia, blue, black and grey.

This was a beautiful collection, yet somehow I felt that Galliano held back. There wasn’t any over the top-couture like pieces in this RTW collection as I have come to expect.

The another shocking thing was that Charlize Theron was not in the front row.

Dita von Teese was in the front row, wearing a ivory Dior suit, which has coloured beadwork on the hem of the jacket and the skirt. The lady who usually wears a lot of dark colours has been embracing lighter colours recently, and it has been a refreshing change.

I do not recall seeing much of Marion Cotillard since her spectacular Jean Paul Gaultier gown at the Oscars earlier this year. This grey dress, is a little lacklustre, but her Mary Janes are worthy of drooling over. For me she has lost a bit of her sparkle.

Eva Green who usually goes all out when attending a Dior show is also very sombre wearing this Dior grey belted suit with her Dior Hermitage bag.

For past shows Eva would stand out wearing an amazing Couture piece.

She may have been at the Christian Dior show, but Emma Watson did a Anna Wintour and arrived wearing a Burberry Kentisbury coat.

I love her look, with the lace-up boots and the flawless nude make-up.

Lily Allen who is normally devoted to Chanel arrived wearing a gingham dress, with YSL Trib Two Platform Pumps.

Katy Perry sporting a white strapless flowery knee-length dress with lavender heels.

Faded Youth rightly stated on his blog that there was a time the front row at Dior was exclusive to A-list stars. Now it looks like anyone one-hit wonder can attend.

Zoe Saldana was also in attendance wearing a Christian Dior dot print shirt dress, with white Dior heels.

Oscar winner, Marion Cotillard wore this mermaid-esqe Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 2008 Couture gown to the Oscars on Sunday night, which appeared on many Best Dressed list including mine.

Only she could pulled off this amazing mermaid-style gown, which was custom-made for her. Thank god she did not choose the runway version, as I don’t think it would have made the same impact.

It’s was the second red-carpet event in a fortnight that not only did Marion Cotillard win the Best Actress award, but also the second time she opted for a pale shade.

At the BAFTA’s she shined in a fabulous ivory and silver embellished Chanel Fall 2007 Couture dress.

Marion has been supporting French designers by wearing Jean Paul Gaultier to the Cesar Film Awards, Nina Ricci to the SAG Awards and Chanel to the London Film Critics’ Circle Awards and to the Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards.

Hopefully it won’t be long before we see her a YSL, Christian Lacroix or Balenciaga creation. I am sure they are queuing up to offer her their clothes.

Has a style icon is born? No she has been an icon for a while, it’s only now that everyone has noticed.

Best Dressed/Best Haute Couture Award
This ivory mermaid-like Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 2008 Couture gown on Marion Cotillard was simply stunning.

I loved the a fishtail hem and the scale-esqe embroidery on the whole gown.

Marion won the Best Actress Award for her portrayal of Edith Piaf in La Vie en Rose.

Her speech was so wonderfully heart-warming, that it brought a small tear to my eye.

Heidi Klum was better than amazing in this Dior by John Galliano custom-made couture gown.

The neckline and the back detail were all very chic.

She finished her look with Stuart Weitzman shoes and jewelry she designed from her own line.

Heidi’s red couture gown will be auctioned as part of The Heart Truth campaign to raise awareness about women and heart disease.

Best Detailed Dress/Best Earrings Award
There is so much detail on Penelope Cruz’ mermaid dress with the feathers and the gathering at the front, yet it does not make the dress too busy.

I adore her ruby and diamond Chopard earrings.

Best Invisible Make-up Award
I bet it only took Cameron Diaz no more than 20 minutes to get ready, and look how amazing she is.

She arrived at the Oscars in a pink Christian Dior by John Galliano bustier gown, Bulgari jewels, Roger Vivier clutch.

Best Strapless Award
I loved Kristin Chenoweth Armani Privé black silk tulle gown over a rose organza underlay.

It was the only dress that challenged Marion for Best Dressed. I loved the sweetheart neckline and the knotted and pleated tulle details.

Best Sequins Award
Regular readers will know I love a bit of bling, as it all adds to the glamour on the red carpet.

Renee Zellweger was the only one to provided head to toe bling in the form of this stunning strapless Carolina Herrera gown, which I at first thought had to be Elie Saab.

Most Improved From The 2007 Oscars Award
Anne Hathaway need this. She needed a stunning gown to erase the memory of that Valentino bow.

The saviours? Marchesa of course.

She completed her look with Harry Winston diamonds.

I love the with rosette detailing from the bust-line to her shoulder.

Best Strapless Award
Keri Russell’s champagne coloured Nina Ricci strapless dress came to life with an H.Stern vintage floral necklace.

Best Matching Dress/Lipstick Combo Award
Katherine Heigl was stunning in this Escada gown.

Her look was very elegant, as she channeled old Hollywood.

Her jewels were from Ryan Ryan and her shoes and clutch were from Jimmy Choo.

Best Pregnant Award
Jessica Alba won the battle of the baby mama’s in this purple Marchesa Fall 2008 gown.

I love the feather detailing on the bust and the aubergine really suits her.

Jessica added some Cartier jewels to finish her look.

Best One-Shouldered Dress/Best Hair Award
There were many one-shoulder gown, but Hilary Swank in Versace Spring 2008 Couture was by far the best in terms of detail.

Her hair was amazing. Perfectly styled and I loved the tints.

Best Vintage Award
Calista Flockhart looked stunning in her 1970s vintage Valentino Haute Couture dress from Rare Vintage. The pale blue and grey colours were very pretty on her.

Best British Award
Were Tilda let us down Helen Mirren did us Brits proud in this custom-made Georges Chakra ruby gown.

Simple Yet Fabulous Award
Amy Ryan was simple and fabulous in this one-shoulder Calvin Klein gown.

Sexiest Couple Award
Johnny Depp in Giorgio Armani and Vanessa Paradis in Chanel Haute Couture with Chanel jewelry are so hot without event trying. Only Brad and Angelina could have upstage this hot couple.

Best Dressed Couple Award
I loved the way Diane Lane in David Meister and Josh Brolin were subtly dressed. They complimented each other well, without resorting to him wearing a tie to match her dress.

Best Necklace Award
Laura Linney was wearing a very simple midnight blue silk strapless bustle-back gown by Michael Kors.

Her stunning Cathy Waterman necklace brings the dress to life.

Laura’s bag and shoes were by Salvatore Feragamo.

Best Plus 1 Award
Keisha Whitaker always shines next to her husband.

The detail on this embellished strapless tulle gown is magnificent.

French actress Marion Cotillard attended a Picturehouse event thrown in her honour this month wearing this Chloe floret bustier dress. She wore her dress with gold peep-toes, an ivory clutch and stunning jewelery.

I love the intricate multicolored flower embroidery and appliqués on the dress, which makes it so pretty. No wonder the equally gorgeous Marion chose it.

The dress is currently sold out in the UK Net-A-Porter.com store. But you can purchase it from the US store for only $3,795.
