Liv Tyler In Givenchy and Proenza Schouler - The Lunchbox Fund Fall Fete And Feedie App Launch

Liv Tyler attended The Lunchbox Fund Fall Fête held at Buddakan in New York City yesterday, where they launched the charity’s philanthropy app, Feedie.

Wearing pieces from her favoured brands Givenchy and Proenza Schouler, she donned a black Proenza Schouler longs-sleeve top with a sexy fitted Givenchy skirt with a kick-flare hem in shades of rich autumn greens.

Styling was kept uber-simple, with a Givenchy wristlet and black Manolo Blahnik pumps completing the look.

My wish is that the neckline was more open, like a scooped neckline, or that she had added a necklace. Nothing too ostentatious, as it was a charity event, but something to prevent the top half feeling so bare.

Liv Tyler In Tanya Taylor - 'Magnum' Cannes Film Festival Photocall

Liv Tyler and director Wim Wenders attended a photocall for ‘Magnum’ during the 2013 Cannes Film Festival in France this afternoon.

Like a few other celebrities at this event, the actress used the occasion to shine the spotlight on an up-and-coming designer.

She looked lovely as ever, wearing a black floral confection from the Tanya Taylor Spring 2013 collection.

I wish her calf-length dress, styled with open-toe sandals, was just a few inches shorter.

It’s at an awkward length – it’s not quite tea length and not close to being knee length – but this is a great daytime look nonetheless.

Does the length irk you?

Liv Tyler attended the 2012 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards held at Center 548 in New York City last night.

She wore a look by one of her favourite designers, Proenza Schouler.

The Spring 2013 look featured a chiffon printed blouse and a flared skirt, which appears to be the commercial version of the runway look; it has an asymmetrical button detailing and lace inserts.

Liv styled her look with all black accessories from the same collection including lizard peep-toes and the PS13 clutch, keeping the look simple with a bun and neutral makeup.

Here are some more looks from the 7th Annual Chanel Tribeca Film Festival Artists Dinner held at The Odeon in New York City last night.

Giovanna Battaglia: The contributing fashion editor to W magazine becomes the first person to wear a look from the Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2012 collection. Whilst I love her cherub print dress and I love the embroidered floral boots, but I’m not crazy about them together. There is just too much going on especially when you factor in the array of colourful bangles, gold leaf headband and the white tassel bag.

Alexa Chung: Chanel’s favourite Brit girl was of course in attendance. Opting for a black velvet sleeveless mini dress with black tights, a black Chanel quilted bag and black open toe sandals, I couldn’t be more bored.

Liv Tyler: The actress lifts me from my Alexa boredom slump by opting for a Chanel colourful printed maxi dress. I would’ve loved to have seen the dress without the long ivory Chanel coat.

Naomi Watts: Like most of the other attendees, Naomi was in head-to-toe Chanel. I just wish the look was a lot more interesting.

Liv Tyler was at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival for the premiere of ‘Robot and Frank’ on Saturday.

The actress wore a Givenchy Fall 2011 navy oversized sweater which has a floral embroidered print.

She teamed her snug sweater with a simple black pencil skirt, black opaque tights, and black leather Jimmy Choo ‘Biker’ Motorcyle boots.

Whilst the look isn’t as sexy or chic as Kate Boswoth’s, it is weather appropriate as it’s snowing in Utah.

Light wavy hair and a dark pink lip colour completed her look.
